I don't know if is exactly unloading.....sure he isn't happy with the deal. But I think they are making more out if than whats there. I did find it amusing that BO and his team are still playing politics with this issue. What say ye?

Israel's prime minister says each day that passes brings greater Western concessions toward Iran in talks over its nuclear program — and that the emerging deal could be worse than one that led to North Korea gaining an arsenal of nuclear weapons. Benjamin Netanyahu said Sunday the progressing talks in Vienna do not represent a "breakthrough but rather a breakdown." Western diplomats are trying to reach a deal before an extended July 7 target date. Any deal would result in an end to longstanding sanctions against Iran.

Netanyahu assailed the preliminary deal reached earlier this year. He tweeted his opposition to the unfolding final deal on Sunday:

Negotiators are striving to wrap up the deal by July 7. But the US is pushing up against a deadline of July 9. The Obama administration has to submit the final deal to Congress by that date or face an extra 30 days of congressional review, something it desperately wants to avoid.....snip~

So, the possibilities include:
Netanyahu has seen the agreement and knows that it gives away the store to Iran.
or he hasn't seen the agreement, and is pontificating about it in order to gain more political points at home,
or he has seen the agreement, and wouldn't be happy regardless of what it said,
or he hasn't seen the agreement, but simply doesn't trust the powers that are negotiating it,
or a combination of the above.

Not exactly.
And playing politics is what Obama, Netanyahu, and every other prominent politician in the world does. Never take what any of them says at face value.

The real reason why Netanyahou is so vocal against Iran has nothing to do with nuclear weapons. For example a nuclear Pakistan is far more dangerous than a nuclear threshold country like Iran!
But the thing is that allowing Iran back into the playing field is a unbereable for Israël because here comes a serious competitor!
And whenever Netanyahou barks against Iran, nobody asks him about the disputed territories of cisjordanie and what's his plan to settle the situation for good!

That is....what he is suppose to do with the other leaders.....not looking to play it with Congress and over this issue.

If he would have taken a tougher stance from the beginning. How do you think the Europeans would have reacted knowing they need the US to handle Russia in Eastern Europe?

He's not supposed to play politics with Congress?

That's just about all Congress does at this point, plays political games.

Not sure what the rest of that means. Are our European allies getting nervous because Obama didn't take enough of a hard line?

Greetings, Dittohead not. :2wave:

Very good! Or he may rightfully assume it will be up to Israel to handle any problems with Iran to keep everybody else safe?

That may be.

I wonder if he has his team of hackers working on taking over Iran's centrifuges once again?

Not over this issue.

No one says they don't.

It means if he would have had a tough stance from the beginning. How do you think the Europeans would have reacted? Would they have wanted him to ease off or take the same stance? As clearly they aren't nervous now with this deal. All they can see is getting Iran in on the global market and how that benefits them. Especially the French who have Billions tied up in Iranian Sanctions.

So, it's in the interest of the Europeans to end sanctions ASAP. Meanwhile, Israel is nervous about a nuclear armed Iran, so their leader is scoring political points by taking a hard line on the whole thing. The Republicans in Congress don't trust Obama to not give away the store, and so are not in favor of the agreement that they haven't seen, but then they are more interested in bashing Obama than in whatever happens in Iran. The Iranians are aware of all of these conflicting interests, and so will try to use them to their advantage. Meanwhile Russia, which is on the negotiating team against Iran, is engaged in an economic war with Europe and the US, and so not terribly interested in furthering European economies.

Let's see... what have I left out?

Sounds about the gist of it.....other than the Saud, and Egypt say they will go with their own Nuke Programs too.

Plus Jordan has bought a Russian Nuke reactor, also the Russians will help Egypt bring back online their research facility they use to have. Then its wait and see who hits Tilt first.

Are we really going to take the Prime Minister of Israel complaining about other countries possessing nuclear weapons seriously?

Considering that the Mullahs of the country in question have stated flat out that if they had nukes, they could wipe out the Jewish state, but any retaliations would cause "damages only" to the Ummah, then yes, obviously.

Are you even serious? Leaders from other countries including Iran have said many times over the years they would like nothing else but to wipe Israel off the map.

I strongly oppose any attempts by Iran to obtain nuclear weapons, and the country's stubbornness on the issue is very frustrating. That doesn't mean that the leader of a country who owns a nuclear stockpile yet refuses to admit it officially can speak out against countries arming themselves with nuclear weapons when they are clearly part of the problem.

He has never said he wants other countries wiped off the map.

I'm more worried about Israel having nukes, quite frankly.

Israel wouldn't have to worry about anti-Zionist rhetoric from Islamic countries if they didn't have an aggressive foreign policy including possession of a nuclear weapon stockpile. The country is contributing to the tensions and is not innocent in this situation.

Netanyahu will not be pleased until he bombs Iran. Whereas, we all sat back and let that unstable **** hole Pakistan work out a nuke over three decades. In the meantime, senior fellows at the Council on Foreign Relations are arguing that a nuclear powered Iran would bring stability to the region. The Pakistani leadership argued at the time, the Christians have the bomb, the Jews have the bomb, the Hindus have the bomb, and if we have to go hungry for a thousand years to pay for it, the Muslims will have a bomb. Now see what that awful weapon that the US created has caused?

What about the Saud and Egypt, seems they feel the same way and take him Seriously enough to have talks with him.

So Netanwhacko - er - Netanyahu does not like the deal.

Then we know it must be a good deal for virtually the entire world but those Israeli's that seem to hate all things non-Jewish (thank goodness not all Israeli's are so filled with hate).

As I stated earlier in the thread, a country that owns a nuclear weapon stockpile, refuses to publicly acknowledge that they own said stockpile, and then publicly criticizes Iran for attempting to arm itself with nuclear weapons reeks of hypocrisy. Israel's irrational foreign policy is responsible for encouraging aggressive rhetoric from the Islamic world in the first place. Saudi Arabia and Egypt are correct in condemning Iran, although their governments are terrible for other reasons.
