The western reports of mass rapes in Tabit in North Darfur were cleverly fabricated to coincide with the talks between the Sudanese government and Sudan Liberation Movement-North from one hand and the Darfuri rebels from the other hand.
The fabrications were not coincidence. They were part of the anti Sudan campaign tended to distort its image to the international community.
The Human Rights Watch is behind the farce ahead of the talks. On November, 7th, the organization held a meeting in one of the displaced camp attended by one Yunus Al ehimir who is in charge of the Humanitarian affairs at SLM-N along with American and British representatives.
The meeting which has discussed the situations of the displaced people was described by Human Rights Watch as important.
The meeting tended to fan the conflict in the region and craft a new plan to obstruct the talks in Addis Ababa sponsored by the African Union.
The meeting has succeeded to force some girls to claim that they were also raped in South Kordofan and Blue Nile so as to refer the false testimonies to the International Criminal Court.
The attendants have compiled the fabricated confessions in a book entitled" Their Life".
The book was translated in five languages and distributed worldwide to finalize the scenario against Sudan. It includes alleged violations committed by the Sudanese army and stories about the aerial bombings.
Some activists in Darfur have welcome the report and seized the opportunity to fabricate another rape case in Tabit in North Darfur to complete the scenario which was backed by Radio Dabanga with the release of the false stories.
Anti Sudan moves have cast a shadow on Addis Ababa Talks between the two parties.
