Why should babys of illegal imigrants be awared with US citzenship?

Burglars try to economically better themselves, as well as drug dealers, car jackers, hackers and other criminals,it doesn't make what they are doing somehow noble. I would rather those people suffer the consequences of their actions.

If unlawful immigants are akin to burglars in your analogy, then you're akin to a burglar who broke into a house a few years ago, availed himself of all the amenities and took up residence there, and is now fussing because a different burglar is trying to break in.

In the case of unlawful Mexican immigrants entering Texas, you're akin to a burglar who broke into a house a few years ago, beat up the occupants and drove them out, availed himself of all the amenities and took up residence there... and is now fussing because the original occupants of the house you commandeered are attempting to get back in.

One thing to keep in mind for all of you are against this notion of "anchor babies": America was founded, rose to greatness, and will continue to be a great country because of people from other countries who came here with a dream to change their standard of living while also putting in the hard work and determination that makes this country great.

I have to wonder if legal immigrants get sick and tired of being compared to illegals. It like referring to all Europeans as Eurotrash or all liberals as moonbats, or all people who live in trailer parks as trailer trash.

With that said, I am not suggesting that we should just open our gates and let anyone who wants to come here illegally be allowed in but, we must remember that there are many jobs out there that would not be filled or getting done if it was not for these poeple.
If anyone wants to argue this please do some quick research on scholarly work that has been done in this field and you will see.

I disagree with that. Its the fact no one wants to work for peanuts for such work. If we suddenly decided to pay teachers below minimum wage I think many would quit, I think if we decided that doctors will only be paid the same amount of money as a guy who flips burgers at McDonalds(assuming that they still actually cook their burgers) I many people who not be doctors. So its not that illegals are doing the jobs Americans do not want, its the fact illegals are doing the jobs for wages the Americans do not want to work. Up the pay enough and they will find plenty of workers. So it is damn lie when pro-illegals say they are just doing the jobs Americans do not want.

Another point I would to raise is that if these babies are born here, consequently awarded with citizenship, the parents of these kids will have to pay taxes whether they are illegal or not.
Why would that change just because their kids might be legal?

Comprehensive immigration reform needs to drastically curb this problem while heloing the countries where these poeple are coming from, primarily Mexico, in incentivizing there people so that they stay there and help their country economically.

This is why we are the US because we have the ability to do this. [/QUOTE]

The last time they passed comprehensive immigration reform or a so-called immigration compromise we had at least 3 million illegals at the time in this country and now 20 plus years later we have 12-20 million plus illegals. So no comprehensive immigration reform is better than having comprehensive immigration reform(unless of course that reform is nothing but enforcement).

And **** Mexico, Mexico is not our responsibility. If you want to help Mexico then set up a charity to help Mexico inside Mexico.

If we would just stop playing politics and actually began taking steps in this direction, whether or not its popular amongst Americans, it s still something that needs to be done.
That is a stupid statement.Illegal immigration regardless if it anti-illegal immigration or pro-illegal immigration will always be political.

You can disagree but facts are facts.

Your opinions are not facts.

That analogy of yours is a load of garbage. I was born in this country, the Mexican trying to invade was not born in this country. That Mexican was never an original occupant. The fact he may have ancestors that were born on this side of the US/Mexican border or on the Mexican side is totally irrelevant. You are basically trying to say it should be okay to break into a house your ancestors once occupied.
