McShame's a Rino-con and too much like Bush to suit me. The fact that Obama/Clinton/McShame are ALL amnesty Presidential candidates DOES chap my *** too. Bush was for amnesty too but didn't get it done. Bush would have signed any amnesty bill that Congress might have passed though.

Glad that you're amused. The fact is that Washington is so dysfunctional that nothing is likely to get done no matter who is President.

That leaves the states to enforce immigration laws. If the trend with passing tough on illegals laws continues that might just turn the tide on the illegal Mexican invasion.

By the way, I don't hate Mexicans, just the illegal Mexican horde and those who allowed it. Don't forget that I have a Mexican American son in law who doesn't like illegals either.

I think that 1069 is right in this, that Chileans and Canadians are also Americans.

There is not such thing as "true Americans", such is an invention of your mind.

When you refer to an "American citizen" and you are talking of a person born in USA, you should say, "a United States of America citizen" or a "US American citizen".

This is like to say "European citizen", which is a person born in Europe. But Europe has lots of countries and you must define properly his citizenship in accord to his specific place of birth.

It happens that by "coincidence" the name of Unites States of America carries the proper name "America" which is the name of the whole continent as well, but this doesn't mean that people from Nicaragua are not "Americans" because they are Americans...they are not US Americans, but they are Americans, and using your invention, they also are "true Americans"...but still, they are not US Americans.

Lets go a little further.

I watched some movies where one of the characters say, "speak American".

And I say, "what the heck is that?"

I know that the US Americans speak English, but I never knew about a new language called "American".

Allow me to explain. You have a salary in accord to your knowledge and cost of living. With your salary you can pay your mortgage, buy food, enjoy movies and other distractions, pay for a hobby or a vacation somewhere, and buy books and plants for your house, etc. You receive a salary that allowes you to live well.

Suddenly a woman from India came illegally to US of America and the owner of your place of employment decided to hire her and fire you. She is charging a third of your salary for the same work you do. What about her?

She pays a small room made in a basement where other 10 persons live in and her rent is almost nothing. So, her "salary" is enough to pay her rent, to buy food and send money to India. She doesn't have a car, she doesn't have vacations, she just make enough to survive with the minimum.

What about you? As you are without job, you will collect from the unemployment office until you find another job. Now, who is paying for such unemployment benefits? You and other taxpayers, including the woman from India.

So, the goverment is paying you a part of your salary creating the need to collect more taxes for this purpose. The more unemployment, the higher the cost for the government. The higher the cost for the government the higher the inflation.

What is next for you? What is "your solution"? To learn Hindu?

My experience with illegals are they will cut corners dont follow the laws endangering people and businesses when they find a cheaper labor pool will switch.I just read an interesting article about Juarez.Everything was fine new American plants opening and more Mexicans immigrating internally there to work.Then the same companies found they can produce those same products in China for one fourth the price so they moved operations to China.Juarez is now a lawless city with over 500 murders in a year compared to El Paso with just five which is right across the border.The companies dont care what they leave behind as long as they are making money.We used to have communities that cared about the people that lived in them now it is exploit the community as much as you can until there is nothing left then leave and move on.Remind me of locusts.
