I apologize in advanced and a quick disclaimer, I am educating myself as much as I can....but I understand I am very immature to this topic...but......

Ive been watching and watching and reading and I just cant seems to place the pieces together.... So I ask how much is too much.

In regards to immigration, Its like a 100 seating capacity theater, you can sit only 100 people, but then you start having people sit on each others laps, standing in the aisle ways, crowding the the whole place. The 100 people that paid to sit in the comfortable seats now have to share them with people that haven't paid. and now they are standing in the aisles blocking the view of the screen and just making everything, everyone, uncomfortable and un-enjoyable.

I understand this country is based on migration...... but again at what point is there just too much where its basic infrastructure will implode.

We keep letting more and more and more and more people in.... The piece of bread can be split only so many times before it just runs out.....Im not saying no one can come in, I am not saying kick everyone out, I am asking... was a study done, to realistically understand, how much resources does this country have to sustain its current population and intake?

I feel like we are that theater and we are packed to the brim.... I paid my way for that super expensive ticket.... but I just saw 2 people sneak in from the emergency exit....... Is that how things are supposed to work?

I'm not sure, though I expect it greatly depends on the people coming in. If they are contributing more than they take then I don't think there is a number that is "too much". If, on the other hand, they come here and don't work and don't pay taxes but use many public services then I am sure there is a breaking point.

Of course it's not suppose to work that way and we have laws to address those that sneak in. The problem, though, is that some of the people in that theater with you don't mind if they sneak in...as long as they shove YOU out of your seat and not them. Heck, they'll even advertise free popcorn to get people to sneak in.

Thank you for your honest and respectful response, I was preparing to get my head torn off.

With that... 11 million undocumented (and from a various videos this number is just a number, but its a number being thrown around) 318 million US residence, against 11 million undocumented.... about 3.5% of the populations?

While that does not seem like much and to have them removed, does this really change our situation...... again.... my concern is resources and factors related to these..

We talk about crime.... well does this 11 million contribute to a greater percentage of crime, does the 11 million contribute to the greater percentage of used resources etc?

If its substantiated.... well then there is part of our issue..

The US is large enough to take in a few more people and prosper. All the things we need do to make it work are well known. But we would have to do them and many of our compatriots would not like the consequences. But the country could prosper.

Good Point, and this is where my thoughts have gotten swayed even more.....

While I feel following the law on immigration is important.....as you stated... there are some people that dont care if it affects you.... Now here is the kicker.... I apologize if this comes off extremely ignorant, but I lack a better statement at the moment.... If we removed all the illegal immigrants. "Because" they are taking jobs from our citizens....

Can we realistically say... that our citizens will openly and freely walk into their Jobs, to do the same work that some of these people were doing?

Its bad enough that college students expect X amount after graduating..... I dont think as simple citizen, will pick up a shovel and go to work if they were unemployed......

People have become lazy.... and with that.... acceptance of the situation...... we give so much handouts and this is what cause the perpetuation...... there are people willing to do the JOB that some of these people that dont want to do in the first place but complain about the taxes that get wasted on both ends of the spectrum...... perpetuation......

This to me is a very very tough subject...and to easily make one statement or the other man..... takes a lot of back and forth!

The elites who welcome these immigrants into the country are privileged enough not to be affected by the problems the immigrants cause. It's the working people who are barely holding on in the first place that have to live with all the problems caused by bringing so many people in. When they complain about it they are derided for being racists and xenophobes, while the elites, who are not personally affected by the problems at all, pat each other on the back and get awards for being such great humanitarians.

It sounds like the German people have had enough, though. They are set to get rid of Merkel because of her policies on immigration and the myriad problems they caused. The elites will huff and puff about xenophobia and racism, of course, but to hell with them.

The jobs issue is a simple matter of supply and demand. Left alone, it will adjust itself. It's called the Invisible Hand.

What does 'Invisible Hand' mean

The term “invisible hand” is a metaphor for how, in a free market economy, self-interested individuals operate through a system of mutual interdependence to promote the general benefit of society at large. It was introduced by Scottish enlightenment thinker Adam Smith in his book “An Inquiry into the Nature and Causes of the Wealth of Nations” (1776).

That link has much more to say about the phenomenon.

Just about the only thing that'll screw up the benefits of the Invisible Hand is government interference.
