When someone else does it, liberals give it a pass. When the US does it, liberals suggest is it a racist policy.

Where would they live to get their in state tuition rates and safety net assistance? Would having an anchor baby get them an exemption? The republicants are not much better because there is no "small government" way to deal with border security or interior immigration law enforcement. We have twice as many TSA agents (federal airport nannies?) than border patrol and ICE agents combined - that should be a clue as to how important federal immigration law enforcement is.

Empower state and local officers to make arrests regarding federal immigration law. Small government answer right there. That, and close the frigging border, and prosecute employers who enable illegals by giving them jobs as was supposed to be done in the 1980's laws that are already on the books, and so on, and so on. Sorry for that, I get a little carried away some times.

I have suggested that the federal government pass a law authorizing a bounty payable to state/local LEOs for any illegal alien that they turn over to the federal government. Maybe it could be paid for by cutting all federal funding to sanctuary cities.

That, that I can't understand. Multiple cites tell the federal government to get stuffed, many not only giving illegals sanctuary but letting them VOTE in local elections? Why? How? Let me try to take a full sized tube of toothpaste on a plane and I get a dozen feds fondling me and threatening cavity searches. I just don't get the logic that these idiots use deciding which laws matter and which ones don't.

Just let me know which laws I have to worry about and which ones I can give the middle finger to and move right along?
