Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said to remove the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants living in the Untied States, he would have a “deportation force.”

Trump said, “You’re going to have a deportation force. And your going to do it humanly. And you’re going to bring the country —frankly, you have excellent, wonderful people. fantastic people who have been here for a period of time. Don’t forget you have millions of people that are waiting on a line to come into this country and come in legally. I always say the wall. We’re going to build the wall and it’s going to be a real deal. There’s going to be a real wall. There’s going to be a picture of magazines where they’re taking drugs over the wall and built a ramp and the truck is going up and down. The wall is like a highway. It’s not going to happen. It’s going to be a Trump wall. It going to be a real wall. It’s going to stop people and it’s going to be good.”

The people who support him have lost their damn minds. A "deportation force?" Seriously??? Reminds me of something..

You're just not.

Every single mass deportation in history has resulted in death, broken lives, broken families and in this case will cause civil strife and chaos the likes of which the US has never seen.

It's not gonna happen, and those supposed "Small Government Conservatives" should not be looking for it to happen.

Do you have any idea what kind of Constitutional Infringements would be required to actually make deporting 12 million people work?

And how many innocent people would be swept up in the fervor?

Yet the same conservatives who likely support him constantly complain about our current police force. Now they want a whole new one!
 
Watching the debate last night, I was struck by how truly insane each one of the GOP candidates is. They are living in a fantasy world. You're not going to deport 12 million people. It's just not going to happen. It's utter insanity. Also, the money it would cost to deport them as well the expansion of government it would take develop a "deportation force" is against the so-called "smaller government" principles that conservatives espouse. There is nothing about the GOP that can be taken seriously intellectually. They are an embarrassment to the United States.

I think the plan is that once all those Illegals are deported the Depo-Force would start finally deporting Liberals.

Operation wetback in 1954 and Mexican Repatriation from 1929 to 1936 actually worked really well in this country. It worked so well that eventally those who did not get caught left on their own.

Part of small government is the government doing what it is supposed to do, which is kick out those who are here illegally and secure our borders.

A deportation force would expedite the deportation process of illegals. However it would go away as soon as another pro-illegal piece of **** was in office.Which is why I like the wall idea, due to the fact a wall is much harder to remove.

Have you even considered what it would take, or what it look like, or how it would operate, or what it would cost, for a "deportation force" to kick out 12 million people? Fiscal conservatism is right out the window on this one, or did you buy the rhetoric from Trump on getting Mexico to pay for all this?

If he was just catering to the far right, then he is a genius however.

At the time of Operation Wetback, the majority of the illegals in the country were here seasonally doing farm work. We rounded them up and shipped them across the border where they could apply for a seasonal work permit the next season. Back then the border was much easier to cross than it is today. A lot of the people here illegally would be here for a growing season, leave after the harvest was done, and then return illegally for the next growing season.

And without them and their back breaking labor which no other Americans want to do, the fruits and vegies would go unharvested.

1.Our government spends money like a drunken trophy wife with her husband's no limit credit card.
2.The cost of deporting 12 to 20 million people would only be short term.Granting amnesty/legal status would only make the problem worse and more costly.Not deporting these 12 to 20 million illegals would only make the problem worse and more costly.
3.Mass deportations in the past has show that eventually illegals will deport themselves, so all 12 to 20 million illegals would not need to be deported by us.
4.Mass deportation is not the only answer for getting rid of illegals. Getting illegals to self deport themselves would also work. Enacting and enforcing various laws
can accomplish that.
