"USG announces nearly $419 million in new funding for the Syria crisis, bringing total USG contribution to $4.5 billion."

Hey morons, better start looking in your backyard.

Whats going to happen when the 100,000 Syrian's get gov funding to move into all those millions of empty homes? And are working in OUR jobs in OUR country?

As percentage of US spending... Around .7% of all government spending is in foreign humanitarian aid...

Oh please 247ina.

Maybe if homeless people ****ing got jobs they wouldnt have this issue.

You have all the way up to a high school education free. If your at least half smart, you can get into college (even if its community) or trade school. If you really **** up, join the military.

IF YOU REALLY REALLY REALLY **** up, then take a min wage job and find people to board with to share the costs. It aint comfortable, but its do able and it gives you a roof to live under.

You calling for welfare is moronic. Welfare is moronic. Its people like these, like you, that make me hate welfare to its very core.

Its sad, because I know there are people who use welfare as intended (but im still anti welfare), but this is nonsensical.

Besides, the OP is nonsensical.

If there are millions of homes that are empty and only 100,000s of syrians are getting into some, then there should be homes left over for you to obtain. But of course, you have to PAY for them (wow!) so you have to get a job for them (double wow!) because this is America and not communist china where the free market reigns and you have to make and pay for things (t-t-triple wow!).

It doesn't make a lot of sense to allege that Congress cares more about the Syrian refugees than the American poor because Congress has spent a total of 4.5 billion. Especially when you consider that our ANNUAL spending on welfare programs in the US is approximately 668$ billion according to the CATO institute (although the Washington post puts the number closer to 212$ billion - No, we don’t spend $1 trillion on welfare each year - The Washington Post

And your final comment reminded me of a South Park Episode. Here's a screen grab.

Most of the "welfare spending does not go the the poor, just greedy Dr's, and corporations.

As for stealing our jobs, they ARE.

"It is true that, according to the household survey, employment among native-born Americans slid from 124,314,000 in August to 124,052,000 in September. This came as the number of employed foreign-born American rose from 24,914,000 in August to 24,928,000 in September. "

WSJ today.

Ok so what, why cant a UUS CITIZEN buy TP to wipe his ass?
Why cant he be allowed to buy $10 in pain pills? (without the $450 "prescription")

What? Are you asking why people are poor?

So...Foreign born gained 15k jobs while 250k native born stopped working...something about math.

Barack Obama spent 500 million to train 5 rebels...and then those rebels gave their equipment to Al-Nusra.

How many poor/sick/destitute Americans could have been helped with that money?

Trouble is your can't even afford a apartment with your jobs, much less a home. Reality always shoots down the lies of the rich.
