What does Obama gave to gain with illegal immigrants?

I keep hearing over and over again here that President Obama has orchestrated the recent illegal immigration surge to push this grand amnesty plot and I have to wonder, what would that gain him? What is the advatange to him allowing illegal immigrants to flood our border? Simply to get some kind of vote for the democratic party? By the time they actually could vote, he will be long gone from the office. Plus some of you claim it's only diseased gang bangers getting in, so knowing they are hardly the type to vote, what's the advantage to Obama for letting them in?

At this point, none. I think it was some sort of political stunt that rather badly backfired. I think he thought he was going to use it to depict himself and his allies as compassionate and caring about all these poor children, and his opponents as being cold and uncaring.

All that Obama really has to do is lay back and watch the GOP self-destruct on this issue.

It'sPretty frickin' simple: You would think that eventually someone in the GOP would notice that this is going to reduce the GOP to a minor, regional, party about 30 years from now as a result of massive demographic change, but so far they just continue the march over the cliff.

Not my problem.

I've read some pretty extreme right wing blogs and new sources on this. Aside from the lack of intelligence and logic, which is in itself is rather scary, I have not read one coherent bit of proof or solid evidence that Obama is even behind this, as many of the right allege.

I have read independent research and reports that state the reason this is happening goes back 50 years or so and has nothing to do with parties or political ideologies. To me, this is all partisan political talking points, devoid of factual content.

It's 100% about the vote. It doesn't matter whether he's personally in office or not. He wants to change America....he said so. It's all about getting enough votes to make a social justice agenda permanent. In his eyes, whites have been running this country too long, and taking advantage of minorities.

How do you think that the GOP will be doing 30 years from now?

I believe that the GOP will be reduced to a minor, regional party by the massive demographic change which is hurting it right now.

Let's wait and see if it wakes up and survives.

Are we talking about the refugee minors coming in from Central America?

You really have to be a mindless dittohead to actually believe that the president is behind them arriving in the United States. That opinion and allegation is totally devoid of facts. Then, if you stretch your mind to believe that Obama has been down in Central America bringing refugees to our borders from there, then you have to ask yourself why, or, perhaps, ask the right wing ranters who are convinced that the newly arrived minors are going to vote for Democrats. It really takes some hyper partisan sort of gape jawed gullibility to believe that, but there are some who manage it.

Or are we talking about the adults who have been coming here for decades to work the fields and clean hotel rooms? If that's the case, then obviously Obama has to have been behind illegal immigration since before he was even born, working on his plot even from the spirit world and planning his birth in (Hawaii? Kenya?) and subsequent rise to the presidency for the sole purpose of bringing more Democrat voters to the USA.

In other news, the ghost of Elvis has been seen riding a T Rex while playing a guitar and singing blue suede shoes. Really! I mean, it's an equally credible story.

Maybe that is what I am trying to clarify. I get the idea some here project the idea that the current wave of children was produced by Obama to grant amnesty to the adults. I don't know if I just misunderstand what they think Obama is trying to do or if they just have no idea at all.

Being predominantly Catholic and from a misogynistic culture, once they aren't worried about surviving economically, they shift towards social issue concerns.
