I dunno about the legend stuff. But some of these seeming to be some good ancient technology is very intresting!
I wonder why Summerians where making carvings of Birdmen things in the air.

But, quick answer:
They carved the images of "birdmen things" because their gods were very often depicted with wings, and often with bird's heads.
So, their gods were often literally "birdman things".

As a matter of fact if you are too lazy to watch a video the very begining of the second video scratches on this. But I think the Old Technology found is way more intresting then bird men. Maybe they where saying the Anunaki had some power of flight. Angel or craft wise.
Another intresting thing is how the Summerians have written in stone the chronicles of Noah.. Many, many years before the old testament.

Jacques de Vaucanson (February 24, 1709-November 21, 1782) was a French engineer and inventor who is credited with creating the world's first true robots, as well as for creating the first completely automated loom. Antikythera mechanism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Antikythera mechanism (Greek: Ο μηχανισμός των Αντικυθήρων transliterated as O mēchanismós tōn Antikythērōn) is an ancient mechanical analog computer (as opposed to digital computer) designed to calculate astronomical positions. It was discovered in the Antikythera wreck off the Greek island of Antikythera, between Kythera and Crete, and has been dated to about 80 BC. Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Cugnot seems to have been the first to convert the back-and-forth motion of a steam piston into rotary motion. A functioning version of his "Fardier à vapeur" ("Steam wagon") ran in 1769. The following year he built an improved version. His vehicle was said to be able to pull 4 tonnes and travel at speeds of up to 4 km per hour. The heavy vehicle had two wheels in the back and one in the front, which supported the steam boiler and was steered by a tiller. In 1771 his vehicle crashed into a brick wall, the first known automobile accident. The accident together with budget problems ended the French Army's experiment with mechanical vehicles, but in 1772 King Louis XV granted Cugnot a pension of 600 francs a year for his innovative work. Wilhelm Schickard - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Wilhelm Schickard (born 1592 in Herrenberg - died 1635 in Tübingen) built the first automatic calculator in 1623. Hero of Alexandria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hero (or Heron) of Alexandria (c. 10 – 70) was a Greek engineer and geometer in Alexandria, Hellenistic Egypt. His most famous invention was the first documented steam engine, the aeolipile. Heron of Alexandria, Inventions, Biography, Science (1/2)

Lean: Very Conservative Gender: Awards: | Re: Ancient Technology Pierre Jaquet-Droz - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...z-p1030472.jpg
Pierre Jaquet-Droz (1721-1790) was a Swiss-born watchmaker of the late eighteenth century. He lived in Paris, London, and Geneva, where he designed and built animated dolls, or automata, to help his firm sell watches and mechanical birds.
Constructed between 1768 and 1774 by Pierre Jaquet-Droz, his son Henri-Louis (1752-1791), and Jean-Frederic Leschot (1746-1824) were The Writer (made of 6000 pieces), The Musician (2500 pieces) and The Draughtsman (2000 pieces).
His astonishing mechanisms fascinated the world's most important people: the kings and emperors of Europe, China, India and Japan.
Some consider these devices to be the oldest examples of the computer. The Writer has an input device to set tabs that form a programmable memory, 40 cams that represents the read only program, and a quill pen for output. The work of Pierre Jaquet-Droz predates that of Charles Babbage by decades.
snip...
The automata of Jaquet-Droz are also considered to be some of the finest examples of human mechanical problem solving. Three particularly complex, and still working and functional dolls are housed at the art and history museum in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, now known as the Jaquet-Droz automata. And, when the first one starts out "Ancient Technology; the Extraterrestrial Connection", I am willing to dismiss it as garbage.
There may be interesting things that they are discussing, but they start of from a position that stinks of natural organic bovine fertilizer. Quote:

Lean: Independent Gender: | Re: Ancient Technology I am leaning towards Time Travel. Travelers from the future travelled to the past and hung around the locals and then lost some of their stuff during their re-entry to their own time and space. The locals found it and tried to copy it before the items self destructed and VIOLA!
Makes more sense than ET coming down and creating super civilizations and then leaving no trace of them.

Most of the things showed in that videos are archeological discoveries that we can't interpret well. You can think that they are the sign of "ancient technologies" if you want to, but I seriously doubt about this
