I liked tofu a lot because it was so diverse. | Well my kids never seem to notice flaxseed oil or wheatgerm in their smoothies. They will however complain to high holy heaven if I attempt to spread some on a bagel and hide it with cream cheese.
As far as tofu goes I think it takes talent. You gotta know what you're doing and I just don't. Some restaurants really do wonders with tofu and others stink at it. For me tofu is really hit or miss. Unlike tempeh you can really screw tofu up so I rarely mess with the stuff. |

Tofu is just really really bland. You have to take the mindset that you need to OVER season it when you do it. And its always best to let it soak in some kind of wet seasoning mixture. You can't just cook it and get the flavor in while heating it. It's a process.

They just won't eat 'em. It's weird 'cause to me they don't taste that different from other seeds and my kids love sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds. Kids are so fussy. |

It takes neither patience or skill so it's right up my ally. |

legumes (beans) and all grains
milk products whole protein
Animal proteins are broken down into amino acids that you need to make a complete protien.
I believe there are twelve amino acids, forgot the names but most legume protein lack a few of the amino acids to make a complete protein, so adding grain does the job. |
