I was keeping a log of everything I put in my mouth. I have since stopped though, since it obviously wasn't helping.

Well, I think portion control is the most important thing of losing weight, provided if u don't eat over-excessive. For example, a can of soda say coke gives u 150 calories which takes maybe 20mins of vigorous swimming to work off. I mean it is senseless if u don't control what u eat and then have too many calories to work off.

Say u need 1700 calories and u eat only 1500 calories a day and top up with some exercise everyday with some cardio activity either jogging, swimming or even aerobics, u will lose weight consistently.

Just do any exercise u like and do it often U shd be ok, don't worry

Mariah Carey lost 2 dress sizes thru portion control and working out in the gym tho she emphasized it was more portion control than anything else that helped her lose the weight. And she is 40. So it shows it works.
