We continued the practice long after the British stopped.
Ton of explanations for why we still do this-- almost all of them complete and utter garbage.

Awards: | Re: Circumcision i looked into it before my son was born. i weighed the pros and cons. and I opted not to have it done. there's no good reason to. it's beyond pointless. it's quite barbaric, imo.

Current Mood: | Cut it if you want to, hands off of mine though Its alleged health and hygienic benefits are irrelevant to a modern man who bathes daily and engages in safe sex. I could understand the cosmetic appeal to some, or the inclination to do so for the sake of a spouse's preference, however FEMALE circumcision is barbaric IMO; Male circumcision is just cosmetic surgery to me.
