When somebody's selling their bike in a garage sale, it's because they really want to get rid of it. It's taking up space; they'd probably pay you, if it came down to it, to haul it away.
Offer em ten bucks.

Hang around a college campus; you'll see perfectly good bikes tossed into dumpsters.
Anyway, don't they have a yellow bike program where you're at?
Frankly, friend, if "not having money for a bike" is your obstacle, I don't think you're all that motivated. Bikes grow on trees.
Maybe you don't have the money for the cool bike you want; like this is the bike I'd really like to have, but it costs too much.
I've got a perfectly good 20-inch Hutch; it cost 20 bucks, and then I spent about another 40 fixing her up.
It gets me where I need to go. | Heh, good point. Frankly, its been a long while since I last looked at bikes and the last time I looked at them I looked at new ones...so for whatever reason that's the first thing my brain went to. My thought was "I don't have just a spare $100 lieing around".
Funny with the College Campus thing...for some people don't even need to wait at a dumpster. Just bring lock cutters and take it...that's how I lost my last one

These things are usually a side effect, as i have yet to hear of a drug that only curbs appetite without side effects.
In the case of adderall, its side effects are weight loss and loss of appetite along with a bunch of other things. Since hoodia hasnt been studied nearly as closely, the jury is still out on its effects and side effects. Maybe some of them are loss of appetite. So i guess the point i was trying to make is, weight loss/appetite suppressing is a side effect. Only Phen Phen made the claim of those results being the intended use, and we know how well that worked out for them...

For one, I'm feeling MUCH better not only physically, but just mentally. My days seem to go by a bit faster with taking the walks around the office, and I've been waking up much more awake and rejuvinated than in the past. Additionally, mentally just feeling better with myself and how I feel/look even though there's not been a big change.
For two, I actually lost 5 pounds from last monday to this monday. I didn't follow the strict calorie count on Saturday & Sunday, but also didn't splurge. However, I was figuring that may've hit me a bit but it seems my body stuck with the metabolism from the week. I made sure to go right back to it this week. Additionally, I had a personal victory in all this yesterday as I was working off-site yesterday AND got off about an hour and a half early. Usually, this would cause me to eschew working out completely and run home enjoying myself but I forced myself to return to the office and work out and felt much better for it.
After this past week I'm very optomistic that I can get to a good point in time. |

It gets me where I need to go. | That could be the problem you were having with your bike when you tired out so easily. Bikes are a dime a dozen but if you're planning to ride lots or use the bike as an exercise regime you'll have far more success if you get a bike that fits your body. Sure you can ride any 'ol bike but you probably won't ride it long, well, or much if it's a piece of crap and ill fitted to your body. |
