| Scars Hey, I was wondering if anybody knows anything about scar-removal? I'm not talking about mini will-heal-on-it's-own-with-cream type scars, little marks or scratches or acne or anything like that. I'm talking about serious surgery scars. I've been doing some research and barring surgery or a skin graft, I'm at a bit of a loss. Any help?

Here's a good product that is recommended for specifically post surgical scars. Scar Treatment Gel Scar Prevention Reduce Help Prevent Treat Scars — Kelo-cote | Scar Treatment Keloid Hypertrophic Acne Silicone Gel
But it must be noted this shat ain't cheap but it's far cheaper than the alternatives which do exactly the same thing using the exact same compounds with nearly identical effects. |

Not sure how that would work with scar tissue from roids surgery, tho.

The scars have smoothed over the years (abdominal wound) it all depends on how the wound was originally closed/sutured. Mine was done in a military hospital; it was not the most experienced doctors doing the job. Had rotator cuff surgery last year, and the scar on my right shoulder is barely visible, so things have improved over the years, and when the doc can take his/her time. Hope this is some help. |

Tell me more (so I can see if this is something I may look into). | Yes I used it - it significantly reduces keloid formations as well as the appearance of scarring in that area. Yeah it's pretty good stuff. |
