Will Roids help anybody hit a major league fastball?

Berry Bonds in my opinion has been on Roids for years, as someone that has spent the last ten years trying to make up for years of abuse from a misspent youth. Do a lot of strength training, as well as a minimum amount of cardio. I belong to a gym, at present and have belonged to some hardcore, Power lifter Gyms in the past, seen some of the effects of Roids up close, (never used them myself) but Berry Bonds whole lumpy head, and his change over the last years sure look like Roids to me, but man I didn’t know that Roids would improve vision, and your ability to hit a 90,95,MPH, major league fastball.

Dont listen to him...

"Roids" will help keep you from getting injured. Also, help you recover from an injury very fast...

You know how you get better at hitting a baseball??? By practicing hitting a baseball, and hitting a baseball in real game situations...

True, but you still have to hit the damn thing, and keep it a fair ball. Takes hand eye coordination, didn’t know that Roids helped you see the ball better or helped with the reflexes when you see a hanging curve.

I like Barry. And I liked Mark McGwire.

Roids can't turn a fan into a major leaguer but it can turn a solid fielding but average hitting player into a league leader.

I would also argue, that if you are stronger, your bat speed increases. This gives you more time to identify the pitch. Also the ball flies farther when you do make contact.

Also it helps your muscles recover from fatigue and injury. But yes, you have to be major league quality in the first place.

That makes sense to me, guess maybe both Big Mac, and Bonds, should have an asterisk after their entry into the records. Maybe Bonds deserves two for being dumb enough to lie to a grand jury.
