Something that occurred to me when hearing Sanders calling for Universal Health Care again is that if Obamacare was a success, that is providing access to healthcare to low income families, then why would we need Universal Health Care? Wouldn't that just be redundant at this point?

That was just one of the many gifts from Santa.

Redundancy on top of redundancy.

It's pretty much just like what Trump promises. Good luck to all candidates.

I don't have much of an opinion on Obamacare because it hasn't affected me but UHC can be better than Obamacare while at the same time Obamacare being better than what we had before.

The part that is NOT a success is the cost of healthcare and the boon to insurance industry. With UHC, that insurance glut between the patient and the doctor would be removed. Costs would come down dramatically.

You're assertion that "if ObamaCare was a success, then we wouldn't need UHC" is false. ObamaCare could have successfully reduced costs, expanded coverage etc and yet there could still be an argument to be made for a different system if there was evidence showing that this system was better.
