WHY JEWS HATE GUNS

It is an article written by Jewish gun owners to try and explain why so many of their own are at the forefront of so many gun banning efforts.
They give several reasons why some want to ban guns and as I got halfway through it, I noticed a similarity to almost all who hate guns here at DP.
Their arguments fit EXACTLY with those given in this article.
It is a very good read.
The whole website is a good one.

I know the article is claimed to have been written by jewish people but it's probably one of the most antisemitic things I read

The group that puts out that article is well known in the gun rights movement and no-they aren't anti semitic and yes they are Jews. The head of the Second Amendment Foundation is Jewish BTW. but the US anti gun movement has far more Jews in leadership position than a group that has 2% of the population would suggest. Leaders of the anti gun movement in the senate include Feinstein, Boxer, Schumer and the late Howard Metzenbaum, all Jewish. The group that wrote the article in question did so because they, Jewish gun owners, were tired of being stereotyped as anti gun because of their ethnicity.

One of America's leading Jewish conservatives-Federalist founder Peter Keisler (former US Attorney General[acting Bush 2} and well regarded Supreme Court Litigator noted that so many Jews are anti gun because their parents or grandparents came from areas of Europe (Russia, Germany, Poland) where the only people who could own guns were those oppressing Jews.

I don't equate learned professions with a political bias. However, you make a sound point-the Democrat Party leadership and office holders consist of far more than 2% Jewish. Since the gun banning movement is essentially a part of the leftwing political movement it makes sense that a group that votes Democrat 75% of the time would support gun bans. And since Jews have far more leadership roles in that party (then say blacks who have 6X the population) it makes sense that Jews would also be overrepresented in movements that exist to support the Democratic Party

Good stuff and yes, most of it reflects on anti-gun types in general, not just anti-RKBA Jews.

Apparently they have not figured out it is government with a monopoly of guns that is the problem. I find it amusing that the world is filled with fools who trust government who are the greatest killers we have ever known in preference to trusting their fellow citizens.

I don't think it is anti-Jewish its a general hatred of collaborators and appeasers of which there are always plenty of in nations or groups that allow provocateurs to indoctrinate citizens

The Jews of Nazi Germany ignored all good advice to challenge the German propaganda in the same way firearm organisations refuse to act and thus owners ignore gun control propaganda.

Any group that ignores the propaganda of hate and fear is simply begging to be removed.

Thank you, that is why I posted it.
In reading threads here i noticed some of those same characteristics of those involved in these threads.
Their website gives even more striking and accurate examples.

They even said at the bottom of one page they know they will be accused of being anti-Semitic for their policies by those that do not read it through....and as predicted...it happened.

That majority actually hate them and want them all confiscated by the government at bayonet point.

Where are they? Every person who wants gun control does so out of fear at the very least. The only possible exceptions are those who are paid to control the strategy.

some don't-they own guns. they just don't want other people to own guns. that's true with many politicians and some rich elitists. what they hate are people who don't agree with them owning guns. Samurai owned swords in Japan. They killed commoners who were caught with swords.

I'm fine with it.


Been some articles recently about minorities and liberals arming themselves. I'm good with that... because ultimately it means more people who will be invested in the RKBA, and fewer anti's.

most of the gun hate in this country-at the leadership level is based on hatred of the voting patterns of pro gun voters and the politicians we support. True, some of the rank and file members of the anti gun groups have a personal loathing of guns-often those whose anti gun position is due to an emotional based reaction to a personal tragedy-such as a parent who committed suicide with a firearm or someone who is the relative of a crime victim. But the elites who push gun control often own guns or have armed guards

No ALL with the exception of those that drive gun control. Within the public the desire for gun control is born out of fear.

People who buy guns cannot be relied on to support the right as more and more firearm owner supporting gun control shows. They lack any understanding of the issues and have no defence against gun control propaganda.

many uneducated gun owners don't realize that the gun control movement is like cancer-it doesn't go away on its own. They think that if they agree to some benign gun control schemes, the gun banners will stop. It doesn't work that way How many gun control advocates have ever said "we have enough gun control"?

as long as there is any crime-the gun haters will push for more restrictions no matter how detached the restrictions are from the crime. Look at the Hughes amendment for edification

The problem of a lack of education in both firearm owners and the public is one firearm organisations must remedy. I cannot think of any other organisation or person who is going to do this vital task. It point to the single greatest weakness firearm owners have in combatting the propaganda of gun control.
