One of the better known makers of AR 15 style rifles has this on their website. Ronnie Barrett, Maker of the famous 50 caliber Barrett long range rifles apparently has adopted the same policy and when LAPD wanted service done on their sniper rifles, Barrett was noted to tell LAPD (California banned 50 caliber rifles for private citizens) that they were "S.O.L."

here is what Spikes Tactical (turtle endorsed Btw) has to say

As of today, it will be our policy not to sell prohibited items to law enforcement agencies, government agencies and agents in states, counties, cities and municipalities that have enacted restrictive gun control laws against their citizens. We urge other companies to join in support.

Excellent, maybe we can get Glock, Ruger, CZ, Beretta, Springfield Armory and every maker of AR's to join in, hey if they want to enforce Unconstitutional laws then they can live with the consequences.

I think some of the big makers who are getting big bucks from say California and NY police contracts won't do that but it would be great if they did

police departments shouldn't be able to use firearms that the citizens in their jurisdiction are not allowed to own

I agree, but hey it would be funny to watch, the gangbangers would be in charge before you know it, oh wait..... Personally I would be all for a wall between California and the rest if the US, at least isolate the pandemic of stupid from spreading to the rest of the Nation.

Hot damn!

I'm all for this!

Awesome policy. There is no reason to allow the statists to arm the state when they want disarm the people.

I hope every gun maker, seller and firearm repair shop enacts that policy. It might make states think twice about enacting anti-2nd amendment laws.

Agreed. Disarm those murderous white honkey cracker ghost spook crooked cops

No it won't. Libs hate the cops too.

It's a lot less expensive than building a wall and policing it to simply counter the propaganda that got Calf. that way and will spread. Common sense says we are spinning our wheels with our mouths open bemoaning what is easily stopped if we could only learn to think smart.

I have long argued this. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, and what the police have (they aren't supposed to be a military branch of government) the People can have.

I like it but, then I remember the ATF's "Fast and Furious"

After further thought since my last comment it is obvious now that all this will lead to is gun companies being mandated to do business with the government.

Government does not have the power to do that, nor would it be needed. Money and greed will ensure there is always somebody who will supply even if the stuff is imported. Government can issue special import permits no problem.

The only action that government is almost powerless to circumvent is people standing in the way making a huge noise that can be heard by hundreds of million voters who need to know what is going on. Government can do nothing without votes or support. It is not rocket science and the longer we take to figure this out the more we will lose.

Good. Now we're getting somewhere. Said rifles can be serviced by anybody and can be bought elsewhere.

You do realize it's a trap, right? They are trying to get you to admit through your actions that you want the state to be armed with the weapons that you don't want the people to have.

It's no kind of a trap at all. It's a stupid political move by a stupid gun company that's going to blow up in their faces.

Money talks and BS walks. When their sales department starts choking, their little "protest" will end.

The point isn't to stand out the fight, but to get you to make a move proving them right about you.

That's nonsense.

That's nonsense.

You need to pay attention. They know you want the state to be armed with guns you want banned for the people, they know that message will sell, and they know you will bite and prove them right if given the chance.

(chuckle)

The "state's" gonna tell 'em to go pound salt.

By going elsewhere to get exactly the same thing. You don't see how that proves them right, do you?

Not at all. The states are not going to play a stupid game of politics with their police forces.
