There seems to be very little correlation between gun laws and gun deaths[W76]

On one hand we have Japan and on the other we have Switzerland both with much the same crime rate so do tell what in both those countries causes a similar low crime rate. The one thing it is impossible to be is anything related to guns. Have you answered that?

No I don't think it is that as there is absolutely no evidence to show that. Only blithering idiots could possibly "believe" that removing guns from the victims of crime will make them safer.

There is no evidence to support this and a mountain of evidence that suggests gun control advocates are fear filled paranoid cowards. People who are unafraid plan to over come the possibilities in life and one of those is that one may well be called to defend your life. They accept that this is their task and prepare for that. Gun control advocates on the other hand want the police and government to protect them and accept no responsibility for this task. They fear those who make them look weak, cowardly and selfish.

I think if you cut through the nonsense, what you will find is that Rico's posts suggest that gun owners who actively support our rights are as bad or worse than criminals. Criminals rarely vote, and when they do vote, they usually support democrats and progressives. That makes them the political allies of gun haters like Ricl. We gun owners who are active in supporting our rights tend to vote against the sort of candidates gun banners want. WE tend to put gun rights ahead of "rights" the left cherishes. Example, I am pro choice but given two candidates, I will support the NRA endorsed candidate even if he's anti abortion or anti gay rights. and its not because I oppose gay rights or abortion Gun rights are just more important to me. But that is what motivates so much of the anti gun movement-punishing us for supporting candidates who don't care for gay rights or abortion or "economic justice"
 
Speaking for myself I see gun owners and guns as a public safety hazard. I just want to control and ban them. Don't care about your political views and mine are center to center left.

so were you were lying when you claimed you were supporting Johnson? I don't see him being the choice of a "center left" who is an extremist on gun issues. Johnson is the most pro gun candidate running


How do you control and ban gun owners if you aren't armed yourself

1) rely on other people with arms to do your dirty work

2) spray some fairy dust and wave your magic wand and hope for us to go away?

I see gun banners as a threat to the constitution.

Johnson is a centrist he has a few thing I don't agree with but it's not like he could implement them. I was also attracted by our mutual high (ish) level athletic pursuits. Sadly he turned out to be a bit of a dullard wrt foreign policy issues (no where near as stupid as Trump).

Banning guns will take a while. It will begin with public shaming as we did with Tobacco and DUI then incremental restrictive laws

Yep that is why the CDC had its funding cut for abusing public money. It is a propaganda campaign that you describe. Gun control already does that with blame for crime and atrocity. The use of derogatory euphemisms, stereotyping and tarnishing the good name and record firearm owners have is all part of gun control propaganda. It is no different to Jews have all the money, Jews have all the good jobs.... Nazi propaganda.

Go right ahead, the fact gun control cannot use truth to gain their foul objectives is what makes such people no different to the Nazi.

No, smart people use the evidence you have given them to form a conclusion.

In general most people know that they need to back what they claim in a debate when requested to. Only devious idiots try to make false claims in avoidance or they are suffering from cognitive dissonance. Since you will not answer after being requested to twice it is quite obvious you are claiming the earth is flat despite all the evidence. That shows a belief an indoctrinated belief as you have no thought process to back it up. As an indoctrinated believe of gun control you don't need facts, truths and how many must die for your beliefs is immaterial to you.

You are not worth the effort of debate as you have no ideas of your own, are incapable of free thought on this subject and I already know all gun controls false lying claims.
