What Matt Damon doesn't get about the US and guns

Not ones that are generally being used to cause problems. thats why they are worthless and in some cases worse than worthless-they allow mopes to get rid of evidence in a murder case easily

Are you suggesting that by some miracle that "bad guns" can be removed  The bannoids will be having wet dreams. What we keep forgetting is that the violent criminal gun market is very small and probably less that 100,000 for the whole of the USA. These clowns are trying to remove criminals guns by destroying the haystack.

Round up the gangs and send them to Australia, and you will have comparable numbers here.

Not unless you give them all guns....They won't find them in Australia so easily.

Any position he held on gun laws would be at odds with his work, as his work has nothing to do with legal gun possesion.

That's not what I suggested I said BELIEFS.and nothing about gun possession. Why is his work at odds with his beliefs?
Hypocrite? Thinks he will be better liked by the gun control freaks..... It's all about publicity....

Because the Aussie gun laws and buy-back took most guns off the street, and the black market price shot up 100-fold. Customs will take them off you, of course.

I feel that any measure to curb gun purchases or possession would at best only have a very short term affect. Technology has advanced to the point that I expect every day persons will be able to make a fully functional multi shot gun in their home, overnight, for under a hundred bucks within the next 10-20 years. When we reach this point it will be nearly impossible to reasonably control guns in the US on any level.

Is this about Matt Damon or the buy back program? If the latter you need to site to support your claims it isn't working.

It is not physically possible for gun buybacks to reduce crime. As proof of that statement it is not possible to explain how guns cause crime with any known force or power. Therefore there can be absolutely no causal relationship. That is sufficient proof to show that gun buybacks cannot work as claimed. Unless this unknown force or power gun control claims exists can be demonstrated and measured. Can gun control produce/describe/explain this force or power?
