"To keep the "majority" from taking advantage of numbers" is called "The Tyranny of the Masses" and a seriously debated issue by the Founding Fathers' and an issue that if they did not have faith in democracy working for the good of society would have "scotched" any idea of the right to own a gun.............

First off, the founding fathers hated democracy, and the closest they got to it was allowing the election of representatives. Even senators were appointed, until the country lost its damned mind and became a bunch of democrats.

That said, yes, it is about tyranny of the masses, and you see this every time there's a "peaceful" gathering in the streets involving BLM, Occupy or some other group of miscreant misanthropes. Yes, I do keep weapons for that purpose, and I'm very well trained by our most elite armed force in both when and how to use them.
