Write a New 2nd Amendment

If a grade school kid wrote:

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

...he would be scolded and ordered to take remedial classes in English. It is really that awful.

Remedial modern english or remedial 18th century english?
