The Inescapable Reality of Murder and guns [W:176]

Another 80+ Americans died by the gun today as usual. Almost a 911 every month. Why do a third of the households of a country which takes up only 2% of surface of the globe feel the need to own half of all the privately held guns? What are they afraid of?
False premise, that to own a gun, one must be afraid of something.

For every gun under to commit a murder today, 16,400,000 were not.
This negates any point you might hope to make.

Justifying your sanity & good intentions in order to obtain a weapon designed to harm/kill is, IMO, not a punishement but a logical requirement.
