Guns, guns, it's all about guns, we need more guns. "Regulation is stupid" so they say...

Boy, 11, Found Guilty Of Shooting 8-Year-Old Girl Dead Over Puppy

(Reuters) - A 11-year-old Tennessee boy has been found guilty of fatally shooting an 8-year-old neighbor girl with a shotgun in a fight over puppies, and will spend the rest of his childhood in state custody, court documents showed on Saturday.

So, your rhat ta keep and bear outweighs that.

Isolated incident? Whatever.

Maybe I outta pull up the TTAG gun defense of the day. That's right. OF THE DAY. I'd like to see you pull this kind of stuff out every single day, 365 days of the year. Good luck have fun.

And if I really cared, I could pull up even more than one per day.

Also, who pronounces "right" as "Rhat?" We Yankees don't speak like that.

Evil kid does evil act and we blame the tool he used to do the evil act and try to use this evil kid as a reason to infringe on my Constitutional rights as an adult? Typical gun banner BS.

Let's ban baseball bats: A 13-year-old boy who killed another teen with a baseball bat

Wait... there's no protection for baseball bats in the Constitution like there is for guns, so why haven't we already banned them outright?

Always go with baseball bats or cars when you can't successfully refute a big problem.

right

that's good thinking

A big problem? How many kids are blowing away neighbor kids with a shotgun? How many constitutes a big problem?

will you share with us how regulation would have prevented this terrible shooting?

Laws on storage away from children would have a doozy. See, this story reflects an irresponsible and reckless person who also happens to be a gun owner, and of course this story only shows that regulations are necessary for the sake of everybody. So, how do you think the eight year old girl's parents are feeling about gun control right about now...

1) its illegal to shoot a girl over a puppy.

So what exactly is your point other than another stupid attempt to smear gun owners.

BTW if you actually read Jet's comments he is demanding that gun ownership be banned because that is what he is really saying

and I will be he will deny he is a gun banner but what else can you read into the stupid comment

"so your rhat ta (sic) keep and bear outweighs that"

what does the right of ADULTS to keep and bear arms have to do with this incident and what is it with your arguments that invariably involve first degree felonies having to do with the rights of law abiding citizens?

I don't know, there some 30,000 gun deaths last year, right? Something like that.

Naaaah, that's not a problem.

we already have laws, i know in some states where its unlawful for children to have excess to firearms.

laws on storage...., can you define that down in what you think it should mean

Well, if the laws were strict enough, then people would be more inclined to be more careful. Especially those with children - right?

So we need nation wide laws that are more strict about rifle and pistol storage in order to keep children safer, don't we.

Something like 30,000 kids killed by kids with shotguns last year? Could you please provide me the data for that statement because that WOULD be a serious problem not just a big problem.

So they hang the kid, and let the old man off the hook?

Seems to me it should be the other way around!

Dad's the one that allowed unsupervised access.

well first... its not a federal power it would be a state power and a law which prohibits children from having excess to firearms would not be a bad law if aimed at parents of children, however giving the government a power to determine storage requirements for firearms is not a good idea.

because if the government had the power to determine storage, then what prevents then from creating a law requiring all firearms owners to storage their property in an approved government facility.

this is why you have to be careful in government having the power to do things.

hmmm, I don't remember saying that

I don't know, there some 30,000 gun deaths last year

And it's correct. Jumping to ridiculous conclusions is no defense of a position.

They're not hangin the irresponsible parents; that's the problem.

How's your theory working for Chicago?

And there you go with the big gummit thing again. Ids are being killed by guns and to you it's "big gummit".

No help from the right, as usual

Because when an ADULT allows minors access to their weapon they are not charged with any crime. Whomever that shotgun belonged to should be spending 20 years in jail for manslaughter. It is time to end this nonsense about gun owners being immune from any damage their weapon does without their knowledge.. The 2nd amendment says nothing about not having severe consequences for negligent gun ownership.

I asked you: "A big problem? How many kids are blowing away neighbor kids with a shotgun? How many constitutes a big problem?"

You said "I don't know, there some 30,000 gun deaths last year, right? Something like that." and I said, "Something like 30,000 kids killed by kids with shotguns last year?"

Have you ever taken a course in English that covered Sentence Structure and Paragraph Structure? I repeated exactly what you stated in the form of a question rather than the form of a statement as you did.

So, yeah... you did.

And there you go with the big gummit thing again. Ids are being killed by guns and to you it's "big gummit".

well i not going to have the government determine where firearms should be stored..... because you want the government to have more powers.

you seems to only value rights when they suit you.
