Gun makers streamline pistols for women who carry

Basically...

#1 you buy the hydro dip kit

#2 spread a special sheet of camo (and there are many to choose from) on a bucket of water (it floats)

#3 whatever parts of your gun you want to camoflauge, you just dip it into the sheet and then take it out and let it dry.

#4 Admire the beauty, this stuff is seriously better than your average spray painting and can transfer picture-perfect quality camo on your gun (and even anything else other than a gun that you feel like dipping) that's also surprisingly durable.

This short little video shows you what it can do. The guy dips his hand (now he's got a badass carbon fiber hand...).

You can also go to any NAPA store and they sell a product that you can spray on, or dip if you get the large can of liquid, your tool handles (or your gun stock or pistol grip) that coats it in rubber or plastic depending on the product type for better gripping and it prevents slipping if your hand is sweaty or if its raining.

Exactly. Tasers and pepper spray don't have the take-down capability, or reliability, or intimidation power that a gun has.

lol...pepper spray. smh

Amazing that people actually tell women to use that as their first line of defense.

Amazing is right. In my opinion, pepper spray has caused more women to get the **** beaten out of them more than any other reason. I told my wife to never us it, because it can disable her as easily as it can the attacker, and it would probably just piss the guy off instead of disabling him, especially if he's high on something and not feeling pain to begin with. That's also the same reason I took her .25 caliber away from her and bought her a 9mm with hollow points. The .25 would feel like a bee sting, if that, unless she lucked up and hit the exact right point - which is unlikely.

It's not just strangers or doped up thugs either. Imagine if half the women who were date raped had that 9. I bet more guys would thing twice before pushing the issue.

3 in smith and wesson 686+ or the smith combat magnum model 66.

Nice revolver for sure.

Not really sure what the advantage would be over what she has.

Amazing trigger pull and a 7 round capacity

Amazing trigger pull and a 7 round capacity

Not overly concerned with the trigger pull. I bought hers for her back in the late 90's and it has been cocked more times than Paris Hilton. It is definately broke in.

7 rounds is a huge plus, I always figured it would be too wide for a Chicks concealed piece but under 1/4" wider than the 101 might just be tolerable. I'm going to look into it. Thanks pard'.

It drives me nuts how crappy the holster market is for women. I wish I had the ability and time.

My ex-wife walks country roads and collects cans. It gives her exercise and a bit of income from recycling.

This is the pistol she uses for hunting deer and elk:

This is what she wants to get for her walks:

Probably because they prefer their women to be docile and only look to their menfolk for guidance and protection.

That's a bit silly since the the women's movement is more liberal than not and often the ones that want 'docile' and 'weak' women are the fundie religious (conservative).

And YET conservatives want their women to have protection? Funny huh? Women's lib was hijacked by the left. It was never a serious cause for them.

And it seems conservative males still believe THEY get to decide for women, lololololol.

I never said that. I simply observed that women's lib was s hijacked movement. Feminists were conservatives a long time ago. Realistically? It is a libertarian cause.

When, exactly, were feminists mainly conservatives?

Not that I recall, in half a century of living memory.

Now more recently there are feminists that are also political rather conservative...

It wouldn't be in your half century of life ;) lol. The movement really changed direction in your lifetime though. Mainly the 60s. Gee...why would that be?

I'll guess "Who is Betty Friedan?" for $200.
