I don't care about lawful gun owners. I care that stricter gun laws DON'T PREVENT GUN VIOLENCE. I'm sure you and I have been down this road before and your response was that most measures are largely symbolic.

No, you're perverting what i said. What i said was "something that is largely symbolic cannot necessarily be called 'absolutely worthless'" which is COMPLETELY different than your strawman.

People got all pissed off that i was supposedly justifying symbolic gestures. I wasn't. I was saying that something being LARGELY symbolic is not necessarily ABSOLUTELY WORTHLESS.

If it only saves one kid, can you really say that one kids life is worth less than these changes, anyway ... ? These changes don't hurt ANY lawful gun owners.

The idea that gun control cannot affect gun crimes is laughably false. It's false by definition. It's basically the stupidest form of argument anyone can posit.

Gun control doesn't keep guns out of the hands of criminals. Please get back to me when law abiding citizens are the ones committing most of gun-related violent crimes.
