However I have to wonder if she is just trying to demonize semi-automatic firearms.Because I am pretty sure like most anti-2nd amendment loons she has been explained the difference between a semi-automatic firearm and automatic firearm multiple times. Rand Paul couldn't possibly the first person to explain the difference. . After all this woman claims to be a gun owner and she is claiming that these murders happen with automatic weapons.Its possible that she is a gun own and just totally ignorant about the differences. I think the worse thing we can do is assume that these mis-characterizations of guns is just ignorance on the part of the anti-2nd amendment crowd.The goal of these people are to demonize firearms.Its why certain semi-automatic firearms are falsely called assault weapons and why 20-30 standard capacity magazines are falsely labeled as high capacity.

I think you are underestimating the anti-2nd amendment trash by just dismissing what they say as ignorance. What they are doing is deliberate. Like when they claim that certain semi-automatic firearms are assault weapons in order to make people think that those are the same weapon automatic and burst weapons the military uses.And now they just trying to label all semiautomatic firearms as assault weapons or assault rifles


They banned all semiautomatic firearms in Australia, not just so called assault weapons.

What is scary is the applause she receives. I wouldn't be surprised if her responses were somewhat pre scripted. It's the view, after all. I would think they are expected to give VIEW appropriate responses to please their not very discerning viewers.
Paul was great. Just like his Dad, he is a smart and well reasoned man. Without all that fanfare and glory whoring we see from other candidates, he, just like Ron, will be ignored. How sad.

Is it really stupidity if it is intentional on her part in order to deceive those who don't know any better? I am sure that Rand Paul is not the first person on the whole entire planet to tell her the difference between automatic firearm and a semiautomatic firearm. Even after informing her she still spewed the nonsense about how no one should be able to get automatic weapons. This is intentional on her part to deceive those who don't know any better.

All firearms are designed to kill. That is the intended purpose of a firearm. Furthermore, the ownership of firearms in the US (or anywhere for that matter) is not solely for the purpose of "hunting". I wouldn't take my .40 pistol hunting, it's a terrible choice for hunting. It's purpose is to protect me against the subhuman savages that walk this earth and have no respect for other human beings and no qualms about crushing your skull or that of your family for the twenty bucks in your pocket. I have an AR-15. It's not for hunting. It's purpose is to protect my home and my family in the event that we have mass looting and there is no police protection to speak of. If you think that can't happen I refer you to the aftermath of Katrina, the LA riots, the Baltimore riots and so on and so on. Whoopie can be a victim if she want's to. I will not and I will not entertain the notion that I should make myself a victim to suit her warped and demented sense of how things ought to be. She's a fool.

The legal ones are in the hands of rich people. Because the Hughes amendment in the 1986 so called firearm owners protection act banned automatic weapons from private ownership that were not registered on or before May 19, 1986. Creating a scarcity in automatic weapons people can legally own.Thus driving up the prices of automatic weapon. And even if you got the money to fork out for one of these pre-ban automatic weapons you need to go through the federal government to get one. The only automatic weapons in the hands of criminals are those that were illegally imported through the black market, stolen or they were semi-automatic firearms illegally modified. These make up only a tiny percentage


In 2012 in the state where the murder capital of the county is located out of the 11,681 guns recovered by police only 22 were machine guns.

That makes a nice price hike which will suit the criminals just fine making imports well worth the trouble. Another thing to thank gun control for.

As seen in UK machine pistols are the bling and in thing to have. One would have hoped after the shooting ranges gun control advocates created out of schools, the lives laid at their door, sanity would prevail.
