Guns won't stop criminals

It's been my experience that guns do, in fact, stop criminals. A gun in the face tends to send them off with their tail between their legs.
 
The decrease before the gun control acts isn't the issue. The issue is the much sharper decrease afterward. Assume that part of the decrease is a continuation of the same societal forces at work in the earlier decrease. That leaves a large unexplained gap that
the gun control acts arguably account for. Not saying the acts are proof, but they are a suggestive correlation you can't dismiss in the way Klein's critic laughs them off.

Suicide in Japan has a different cultural dynamic. You can't compare Japan with Australia.

The left are bigots, discriminating against law abiding gun owners. That felt good to say. They call the right bigots for everything under the sun. Time to call them bigots.
