The system is only as good as the records submitted, and 38 states submit less than 80% of prohibited persons.

The vast majority of modern shootings were carried out by madmen who passed the NICS check.

Not a bad video. I need to check on a couple of the points, but I can get behind what is being said there.

Furthermore, by dragging their heels, bureaucrats can effectively kill off gun sales. That's why the loss of the 3-day window is significant.

The mentally ill roam the streets rather than being monitored or institutionalized. Instead, they are drugged with unintended outcomes.

What happened to the old Wayne LaPierre, Jerry?

sort of like the old Democrat Presidents such as JFK or wanna be president HHH-both were strong gun rights supporters and in both cases were the pro gun choice for president when they ran against Nixon

LaPierre was doing the compromise crap--he was pushing to get rid of the waiting period

And yet many are focused on one of the objects these mentally ill use to lash out at the world. Until we deal with the mental health issue this Nation does not want to see we will be at risk of them snapping and committing more horrors.

I joined as a life member when I was a teen-NRA was the NGB for olympic shooting and as a much younger man, I was hoping to be on the 80 team to Moscow. I give more money to a group called the Second Amendment Foundation

Some of the mentally ill were some of the smartest humans known to man. Just putting that out there.
