The NRA Should Support the President's Executive Action on Guns

Government has no more obligation to keep guns under control than it does to power tools, or swimming pools.

You claims are bogus and you know as well as I do that it is not possible to keep anything out of the wrong hands. That in itself along with your plea for the good of the people has killed 262 million in the last century. More than any other cause. I would say gun control should be treated like the killer disease it is.
 
Their government makes the assumption that everyone is a potential criminal if given access to firearms. Therefore, rather than work on the basis of trustworthy until proven otherwise as we do here, they assume everyone cannot be trusted. Unless, of course, they have the financial means and time to negotiate the onerous laws to gain that trust.

Why stop at firearms? alcohol is even more dangerous and has no redeeming value short of social. Firearms have saved lives, my wife and sons included. Has a bottle of Jack Daniels saved anyone?

Untold thousands of Americans have died unnecessarily by gun fire. We don't have to tolerate that. Gun propagation serves only the delusions of the gun cult.

Exponentially more die due to alcohol consumption. Why should we tolerate that? Why do you condone date rape and child abuse caused by alcohol and it's cultists? We should not have to tolerate it. How about the untold thousands of lives that have been saved by firearms? They count?

I would not be so sure about the NRA who claimed to create and support background checks. Why I have no idea. Idiotic whatever it is. A PR blunder of absolute fools.

LAPIERRE: The best-kept secret is that the National Instant Check System wouldn't exist at all if it weren't for the NRA. It's true. Back in the '90s, President Clinton forced passage of a mandatory waiting period on every handgun purchase in America. Not a background check. A wait.

But NRA said as soon as the technology was available, their wait had to be replaced by an instant background check, done by the dealer, at the point of sale. NRA supported it, NRA got the votes and NRA got it passed.~~January 6 response video.
