How are you going to take these guns away from the criminal element? Do not insult our intelligence by suggesting some restriction on gun owners. How are you going to make this removal of guns even remotely possible?

Are you suggesting that removal of guns will rehabilitate these gangs and thugs? Some evidence of that is required as I can see no other way that gangs will change.

Gun crime will be reduced when leaders within the black community start calling for mandatory minimum sentences for violent offenders and stop wringing their hands about the numbers and percentages of blacks in prison. You want an end to gun violence? Get serious about it.

it doesn't help when black society castigates those who would cooperate with the police every time some black thug shoots someone or robs someone. we see blacks wearing t-shirts saying "Don't snitch"

that is because at the more virulent levels, crime control has nothing to do with what motivates gun banners

Asking some sports stars worth 9 figures to spend 4 seconds saying "enough with the gun violence" isn't gonna do much in the long run. Give them some ideas for how to pour their immense wealth into rehabilitating rundown areas or starting schools and camps that take kids out of those areas.

Only islamic terrorists favor more gun violence. The rest of us most likely favor less gun violence. These players are singing to the choir. Fortunately, gun violence has declined fairly steadily over the history of the U.S. Let's hope the trend continues.

Since we have 1.2 million violent crimes every year even with a high prison population, you would have to accept that there are at least some that want more violence. Not sure what Islamic terrorists have to do with this.
