Well if you wish to quote the op quote me because i am the op. My argument was about tech of then vs tech of now and how both were specifically designed for military use, and later saw civilian use. It is against the people who claim military style weapons are not protected by the second yet claim muskets which were military style weapons were.
From the very start of the country and the bill of rights, the weapons protected as common arms were all military style, nearly every gun ever made originated from military use or was modified from a design created for military use, hence the entire weapons of war and military style weapons argument used by anti gunners is aimed entirely at broadly attacking al firearms without admitting they wish to ban all firearms, it is just the new form of dishonesty.
