It is as if we keep talking about a solution without adequate studies of the problem. We have body counts. Where are these statistics?
OK good point but before we start should we not find out what the cause is and if it is not guns simply remove studying that from the agenda as wasting time and clouding the issue? Body counts applies to mass murder.
What information would this reveal?
Good point is there any difference. ie are illegal guns better at influencing people into committing such acts?
Good point and will identify at risk ages.
Some jobs are quite stressful so that may count as contributing. Maybe add upbringing environment. ie single parent, violence in the home...
History of mental health problems
It think that 100% of them have had reported mental problems. Possibly we should question the system that failed to identify them.
On which medications or stopped when
Yes that might have a interesting result if issued medication could be reported only if not collected.
gang associations might be it.
How many done in commission of robbery
I don't think any.
How many a result of domestic violence
You mean domestic violence gone wrong? None as far as I know
How many legal gun owners were shooters
I'm not quite sure what you mean by legal/illegal gun owners
Where were illegal guns obtained
This makes the assumption the answer to question two has already been determined. Has it?
Your article says Congress and the NRA is blocking the CDC from doing these kinds of studies. I'd like to see some proof of that. To my knowledge, the CDC is not under congressional control and certainly the NRA has no input.
The CDC is being blocked because the same agenda driven people that illegally used public money to create gun control propaganda are still there and have shown no sign of remorse or wrong doing. Nor have they apologised to the public for wasting hard earned money to forward anti-social propaganda.
Where are detailed statistics?
How many shooters have previous felony convictions
Interesting question. I'm not sure it has any significance. Question 5 I believe answers the questions as far as I can see and a family history of a upbringing will provide more answers. I do not believe guns play a role in the decisions these people make or impact the outcome to any significant degree.
We are like crime following gun controls hate and fear filled false solutions believing that guns somehow cause all this and ignoring common sense. Gun control have never ever explained how guns make people do anything. Which is why they are the animators of metal and merchants of death. Liars every one of them.
