Their really is no law that is going to stop someone from committing those kind of crimes. If they are willing to die the thought of prison isn't going to make them think a whit about not doing it. Gun banners don't get that or they chose to ignore it for political reasons.

that's silly: eight shot SW 357 revolvers are popular for entry teams. You can use them braced against a shield and not worry about them jamming up like a auto will do when its slide rubs against a shield. snub nose revolvers are extremely reliable for deep carry-

revolvers operate well even for those who "limp wrist" an auto

More Americans had their backgrounds checked purchasing guns on Black Friday than any day on record, according to data released by the FBI this week.

The National Instant Criminal Background Check System processed 185,345 requests on Nov. 27, one of the largest retail sales days in the country.

"This was an approximate 5% increase over the 175,754 received on Black Friday 2014," wrote Stephen Fischer, the FBI's chief of multimedia productions. "The previous high for receipts were the 177,170 received on 12/21/2012."

All it takes is for a liberal to be in the White House and the gun nuts drive themselves into a temporary shortage and price hike. Gunmageddon only happens when liberals actually feed gun nut nightmares.

If the Demcrats didn't scream for bans constantly, the buying frenzies never would have happened. That Clinton did get a ban enacted gives the lots of ammo to those who worry about another ban

Initially, Obama rejected he would do such a thing. Gun nuts went bat**** anyway, but at least it was isolated to self-induced scarcity. Then Sandy Hook happened. I still regard this as one of the worst decisions his administration made. Not only did it plunge them (and the Party) into territory it benefitted being out of and eventually losing the policy fight, but it also then drug other policy agendas into it (ones that tended to favor Democratic Party approaches). I think you could make the reasonable argument that without the administration's Sandy Hook response, you would not see the disastrous Republican mental health bills that are going to hurt people with disabilities and their families.

by demanding nonsense legislation that is totally void of any consideration of the 2nd Amendment to ban as many guns as possible.

I finished your sentence for you. If something is trying to stick me in the butt I am not going to believe you when you tell me it isn't really happening.

This is a perfect example of party politics, rather than acknowledging that americans buy guns for reason the white house sticks to their stance on gun control. It's good politics and they don't want the democratic party to loose supporters because of a statement on guns.

They tried that once before and it cost them in 94. I hope they keep doing it. We can use the votes. If a lesson isn't learned it will keep happening.
