To be fair it was posted into "gun control" sub forum when maybe could have been elsewhere but you have posted in other gun threads that's what I was commenting about - not just this thread. Anyway have a good day.

You realize how easy it is to make one right? They actually make special tools for propane tanks for lighting bone fires. Same basic thing.

Hell they make paintball guns that launch fire balls for prescribed burning and they even drop it out of helicopters.

I don't know. I'm sick of it. One stupid comment about a useless flamethrower and suddenly I have this grand conspiracy planned against guns. What? This should be in the conspiracy theory section. It was in the brand new thread lineup when I saw the stupid title, and joked a bit with the OP who started the thread. That's when the interrogation started. Wow. Grand conspiracy plan. You bet. Whatever.

Lol. Every time we watch Walking Dead my wife makes a comment along the lines that life would be so much better if they had a flamethrower. Her zombie apocalypse prayers have been answered.

I love to cook. I also love to eat but that's beside the point.

I love to cook specifically because I get to play with really big really sharp knives and enough heat to melt your face off :)

Sounds like you were quite the terror! I had a brother who I saw lighting matches he stole from our parents. He was standing right outside my bedroom window, lighting them and then throwing them --- right into an evergreen bush with a bunch of dried, dead parts all underneath. I screamed, he ran, and my dad got busy tanning that hide. Too funny!

This thread is in the Gun Control sub-forum, meaning posts are read under the light of supporting or opposing gun control laws. This is why you've seen some posters comment about the second amendment, Heller, militia, etc, even-though those things don't seem to have anything to do with flamethrowers at first glance.

So when you ask "why does anyone need...", you sound exactly like a gun banner, because that's what gun banners in the Gun Control section say when they position themselves for an argument, a debate.
