How so? The narrative was he "shot up the place with an AR". Clearly the AR was pulled from the trunk of his car. There were many shots of it being removed by the police.

Both. The agenda clearly is to damage the 2A and start painting all gun owners as "crazy". Then the cover up comes with the lie that a .223 AR was used in the shooting.

I've seen the conspiracy theory videos. It was done by who they blamed it on. Just like most conspiracy theories, mountains upon mountains upon mountains of evidence refuting this garbage must be dismissed and ignored to support these little tiny molehills. I don't hang out in the conspiracy theory forums for a reason. I don't like nutters.

Media got it wrong? How about the media was directed and used as a pawn as part of the agenda. But your clear gun hate leads you down the path that only one thing happened and there is no other explanation.

Just curious why would pointing out that the sandy hook CT is one of the more crazy ones out there make me a gun hater?
 
Also in the weeks and months after. Where were the interviews with teary eyed parents, grand parents, brothers and sisters?
Where were the long lens shots of funeral processions and grave side services?
I saw little to non of it unless it was a canned interview in a studio. Or of course in the Rose Garden after the UBC failed after Obama allowed some of the players unfettered access to the halls of congress to harass law makers.
Any parent who loses a child I have the deepest sympathy for. I have had family member lose children. But there is so much BS about what happened that day. Its hard to just buy the narrative and leave it at that.
Not when it was tried to be used as a jumping off point for some serious gun control plans.

NYs Safe Act. Magazine cap limits in I think 5 states, vote on the UBC (failed), statements from the White House and the VP about what was a local issue. Not a national one.
And its being discussed because someone started a thread.

When governments institute registration does confiscation result 1% of the time? 10% of the time? 58% of the time? 100% of the time?

I have no doubt that the people who like to think of themselves as EXPERTS on gun matters would have this data at their fingertips and would have no problem at all producing it. After all, that is one of the things which makes a person an EXPERT.

3) the NRA convention is scheduled years in advance. I was at the one in Indy, I already knew that 2015 is in Nashville and 2016 is in Louisville. Why should the NRA suffer millions by canceling a contract just to appease anti gun assholes? The NRA had nothing to do with columbine any more than AAA was responsible for the guy who drove his car into a Bus in Caroltown KY killing 20 or so school kids.

Please correct me Turtle if I am incorrect - but have you not stated in other posts that you are considered - at least in your own eyes - as an expert on firearms and gun law?

1) he has a Bushmaster AR 15 and a SIG pistol I believe

its clearly frivolous because he killed his mother to get the guns that she had legally purchased after undergoing a background check and waiting period.

2) here was no evidence that the makers did anything wrong

i don't think in columbine it was scheduled in advance or a convention, but a gathering in response to the tragedy, for attention or out of some paranoid fear that grief stricken parents pushing to stop psychotic 17 year olds with a vendetta from acquiring automatic weapons is somehow taking charleton heston's rights away
