No, I'm not saying it's a fraudulent claim. Only that your "personalities" were so different. Churlant I got along with really well (I thought) and Ethos, not at all. It just seemed like the difference between night and day. Although I wasn't around when Churlant left. It was only when I returned that Ethos was already there and Churlant was long gone.
*cough* I admit I do not remember "Churlant", but enjoyed reading Ethos. Bit of a bad temper at times, though.
I guess it was a bit of a strain maintaining the Ethos persona while trying to hide his true squirrelly nature.

It's not hard to alter a personality - all you have to do is create a pseudonym who doesn't have one. Ethos never had an avatar (until the end, and even that was suggested by someone else). It certainly had the expected results. :p People may have liked some of Ethos's posts, but I don't think many liked him. Churlant had the honor of sharing the very first MOTM with Platypus, Ethos never received even a nomination (when MOTM was held, which was admittedly a rarity). Overall Ethos was a harsher individual and you wear your emotions on both sleeves. If you posted some stupid ****, Churlant was liable to just disagree... I had a sock puppet on my local forum. I used it to take the completely opposite political point of view, just to pick at the heavily right-winged troll, Billy Thorpe. You may have remembered him. He had a short life on WS, about 2 hours.

It was pretty cool in the beginning. Of course eventually everyone who was gonna win had won already... and we started getting the 'affirmative action' nominations, i.e. Scummy.
