Taking bets! Feds vs States

No.
The People are sovereign.
Apparently you missed the part where I said:
These issue here is state v federal sovereignty (see: thread title)
As has been proven, the states are sovereign.

But please, continue to be a "slippery spinner", doing whatever you can to (yet again) avoid having to admit that you are wrong.

No, the People are sovereign. The United States and the States are their creatures and to their bidding.

Fine, but it is still the state legislatures that would pursue a course to annull the Constitution, even if it was at the behest of the people.

That's right. While I think the idea is bizarre, that's the way it would be. The People of the several States, probably over the course of a few election cycles, would choose legislatures which favored annulment. The legislatures would petition Congress for a convention to propose amendments, including the annulment amendment.

However, the States really just would be middlemen. The People, if they really wanted to dissolve the United States, could just elect a Congress which could create its own Amendment. There's no need to get the States involved, except, of course, for ratification.

Why are you still pushing this? This is what you're arguing about, and you admit that the states have power.
