You do not recall correctly. There's only one actual reservation in Oklahoma, and it's Osage.

There are some 27 Tribal Jurisdictions, but these areas are not reservations. Those areas mean that if the tribe with jurisdiction owns land in that jurisdiction, then the tribal authorities have jurisdiction over law-enforcement questions on that land, not the local police or sheriff. There's a lot more to it than that, and I'm not really sure of all of the ins and outs of it. But I do know that it creates some real jurisdictional head-scratchers and effects the level of legal protection/recourse that Native Americans receive.

Well that may be a part of it, the push for 21 was actually started by MADD to reduce drunk driving accidents. Their logic was that more experienced drivers were less likely to drink and drive, and if they did they would be better drivers even while impaired.

I can see that.
But they need to change recruitment age to 21 or get their priorities straight.

I think its as bad as you do, but I can definitely see their point. IIRC, drunk driving accidents did go down after the drinking age was raised.

Yeah, DUI's are bad news. And for those of us that have to get piss tested alcohol and tobacco are really the only substance abuse choices we have.
