It was sarcasm. I really do think that people are just that stupid, and not necessarily careerists or opportunists.

The real protests are those outside of G-8 G-20 and WTO meetings, where police are always called in mass, and there's always conflict.

I had my partner of 10 years and someone who was a conservative call people who disagree with Obama haters and he was talking about me and he should have known better. I'm concerned that the hate for Bush is washing over some peoples better judgment.
i found that many people who disagree with obama are haters, namely because most of you agreed with bush, and obama hasn't done much to distinguish himself from bush. (except speak eloquently and charm most of the world)

i have no problem with legitimate criticism, but i don't see that coming from you. i see hatred.

do you think that the hate for clinton washed over republican's better judgement? what's the difference here?

Same with all leaders.

So people who attend tea parties are "teabaggers". I would suggest that you reevaluate using that term as it's current common definition is a pejorative in the same vein as some of the words that would be called "hate speech" if those same protesters were to utter them. Oh, that's right, hate speech laws are not designed to protect non-minorities.

As to your point of the vicious signs, racist signs, etc. So far all the "racist" signs that I have seen at these events were being held by Liberals mad that he isn't radical enough. As for the vicious signs, I guess you weren't paying attention for the 8 years bush was in office, other wise you would realize that your statement was a classic case of the pot calling the kettle black. (Will you now claim that I am racist because I used that example?)

The best sign I saw was one that said "It doesn't matter what's on the sign, you'll still call it racist".

Personally, I think his policies are idiocy, pure and simple. Do they not teach economics in Harvard? How about civics? Where to you go to find economists to work in the Obama administration? Did any of them actually attend school? Even grade school? Did they graduate?

I would like to have the MSM spend 1/2 as much time fact checking Obama as they have Palin. Maybe then we would at least learn some of his past. Why have we not heard from any of his college friends? Do they exist? Did he have them buried under some new construction in Chicago so they couldn't talk? What happened to his college transcripts? How about any article or papers that he wrote? Anything?

Buler? Buler? Buler?

I started out not liking his policies and politics, but the more I see of him, the less I like that arrogant smirk, condescending attitude, etc. I will be glad to see the last of him.

WTF are you talking about?

Untrue. Hate speech laws protect everyone.

Good for you. I've seen sign held up by rightwingers that were vicious and racist.

I've never held up a racist or vicious sign against Bush, so no, it's not.

No. Sorry to disappoint you.

Yeah, whatever. How about some substance? What exactly is wrong with his policies?

Or perhaps, just perhaps, the MSM DID look up this stuff and found nothing unusual or worth talking about. Hmmm? Feel free to actually go check.

I disagreed with Bush on many issues. He should not have agreed to a "power sharing" agreement with the Democrats. He should not have passed No Child Left Behind (which was mostly written by Ted Kennedy's office). He should have used his veto on most of the spending bills, sending them back to have the fat cut out of them. He should have enforced our immigration laws. He should have stood up to the Liberals trying to stop manufacturing in America. He should have worked towards limiting Unions in the Government.

Bush was no conservative. He was a globalist, a moderate on most serious issues except for defense. However, he was better than the people who ran against him from the Democrat party in 2000 and 2004. So I voted for the lesser of two evils. Just like I did when I voted for MaCain. Had to hold my nose when I voted for him, but even he would have been better than the Manchurian Candidate we have in office now. (No, I don't think he was born overseas, but he ran as a moderate and is "governing" as a Socialist/Facist.)

I don't hate Obama. I really just STRONGLY disagree with almost everything he has said and done since he has been in politics.

i'm sorry that you have to vote for candidates you don't like or even agree with. i don't have that problem.

obama campaigned on ending the war in iraq, on healthcare reform, and closing gitmo. he also campaigned on raising taxes on the wealthy. how is any of that moderate?

Last week, during Senate hearings on the proposed Matthew Sheppard Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, Alabama Senator Jeff Sessions offered the following hypothetical scenario to Attorney General Eric Holder: “[A] minister gives a sermon, quotes the Bible about homosexuality, is thereafter attacked by a gay activist because of what the minister said about his religious beliefs and what Scripture says about homosexuality.” Sessions then wanted to know if the minister would be protected under the new proposed hate crimes legislation, because he was attacked specifically because of his religious views. AG Holder responded:

Well, the statute would not — would not necessarily cover that. We’re talking about crimes that have a historic basis. Groups who have been targeted for violence as a result of the color of their skin, their sexual orientation, that is what this statute tends — is designed to cover. That would not be covered by the statute.

Been discussed to death. He has so far done nothing that makes economic sense for this country. He has proposed several ideas that will by definition bankrupt large portions of our economy. He has run up the largest deficit in history and accomplished nothing by doing so.

Actually, you would be hard pressed to find any MSM news articles negative to Obama during the election cycle. Even things that would have warranted an investigation with any other candidate got minimal coverage by the media.

But it is. I care noting about the man personally. However, I also can't think of any positives about his candidacy, election or presidency to date.

I don't hate the President at all. He is well meaning. The majority of Progressives are well meaning. It is his flawed thinking and terrible policies I hate.
