Why Lefties fear Trump

I use a different word than "lefties" and "righties," I call them "people." Sometimes I'll call "people" "Americans." And the thing I've noticed about people is that the lack of purpose makes them unhappy. That's why almost all people, even "lefties," want to work and have a purposeful life where they can contribute something to this country and this world. Even people who are physically or mentally unable to work wish to do so.

I don't think people aren't afraid of any politician - most people at least - because that's not what they think about. What I don't understand and can't pretend to understand is why somebody would sit around writing about "lefties" or "righties" and how they hate anybody who disagrees with them. Such a person must have a very small mind and a very sad life.

And, I like my toys. LOTS of toys.

But I also am a charitable guy. I belong to the Lions Club and I'm also a Master Freemason. We love making money and giving it away. LOL!

Please do not imply that lefties and righties are the same, just because we are all people. Lefties are very different, since all roads lead to somebody else's paycheck or wealth. Lefties do not like the terms lefties and righties, because it exposes the obvious implications of how "lefty" represents backwards and wrong, and "righty" stands for forwards and right. Lefties want to blend in with everybody else and get their wealth redistribution check via direct deposit without having to look the wage earner in the eyes. They describe themselves with righty sounding political lean terms so that nobody can see that they are shameful lefties. Lefties want us to all be labeled simply as "people" or "Americans" so that nobody can see who they really are.

Right now, the spotlights are exposing lefties and they are indeed quite afraid. Lefties are being drained from the swamp, and lefties have lost almost all control of the government that they were using to suck paychecks and wealth out of wage earners, and the ways of the left are in trouble. Lefties will all claim that they are not afraid of Trump, but when Trump comes to the door, they scatter like **** roaches on a pest control commercial.

Thank you for being honest. It is an honor to be viewed as a jerk on a political site, and I have worked very hard to get that reputation. There is still something interesting about this though. The political landscape consists of two sides, and the two sides are very much at war. Many do not enjoy or want the war, but the war is here now, it is ugly, and it is not going away any time soon. I wish we could all just get along too, but it ain't happening. I respect that you don't feel at war with your opponents, but I assure you that they are very much at war with you.

You know, I could almost write the same opinion only putting in "leftie" where you put in "righty" and vice-versa.

The only time in recent history where my earnings have been sucked away was under a GOP administration and in my opinion, "righty" represents backwards and wrong, and "lefty" stands for forwards and right, (for the most part.)

Further, all that being said, very few people consider me to be a "lefty" or a "libbo." But some do. (Usually the 'tards say that.) Hell, even some of the libbos think I'm a rightwingtard! I get it coming from both ways.

But I am neither. (Even though I will not ever be voting for a democrat president again unless the DNC changes their ways.)

I am an old school conservative who doesn't tread on anyone. Live and let live, I say.

I adopt the ideology spoken by the great Republican, Dwight D. Eisenhower when he said, and I quote:

"In all those things which deal with people, be liberal, be human. In all those things which deal with people's money, or their economy, or their form of government, be conservative."

So, in short, I am a liberal when it's time to be liberal and I am a conservative when it is time to be conservative. The best of both worlds.

There is enough dumbass on both sides to go around.

There is also enough wisdom on both sides that is often overlooked by the most partisan of hacks. Those are the "'tards," I speak of.

It's easy to pick out the 'tards as they constantly demonize one side or the other. Those people couldn't pour piss out of a boot with the directions written on the heel.

Political boards can be great recreation, but we must not take them too seriously. I actually think very similar to the way you do, but I just love to zap people with polarizing statements. As I have mentioned to you before, I am a lefty in other places on the internet, and I like to use polarizing lefty rhetoric on those sites, just as I enjoy using polarizing righty rhetoric on righty sites. Slinging the terms righty and lefty here are a blast, because it simplifies things so much, and creates a more black and white world, at least here in one of my virtual worlds. I have been able to climb to the top of the lefty's most wanted list here in a very short time, which is remarkable, and a dream come true. It means that I have mastered the character who I intended to be on this site.

"Lefty" really is a fantastic term, and it really agitates lefties when you use it a lot. Sometimes I will post an OP and intentionally lace it with a lot of "left", "lefties", and "lefty", because I know it really agitates the lefty reader. There really is something about the word "left" that is associated with "wrong", since wrong is the opposite of right. It is just better to be right, right?

Thank you very much! I can see by what you made bold, what lefties actually see when they read one of my posts. I had a feeling that lefties did not see much, that they just scanned them quickly for something that they could use to derail the thread with.

Do you know what's hilarious about your post? I'm very liberal - but I believe in the smallest and most efficient possible government - I am afraid right now. Not of Trump. He's a joke. I'm afraid of obamacare being repealed, because I might have to STOP working as I'd be physically incapable of performing the duties of my job. I'd find another job if I had to, but I don't want another job because I'm very good at what I do. Helping people gives me purpose, and when I couldn't work because of my disability I felt a lack of purpose and it made me depressed and fat.

I deleted a paragraph about how wealthy and liberal my family is because I'm not going to be a jerk, but I want to question whether or not you really want to go there.

If you believe in smaller government, The Republican party is supposed to be for you. These days, none of the old terms to describe political lean mean anything anymore. Liberals have had had their name hijacked, Republicans have had their name hijacked, and we can't tell who is who anymore, at least not based on the claimed "lean". Check out my signature. It is easier to just go with lefties and righties these days, since it is pretty easy to tell who is who. There are many righties who were not excited about Trump, but the true righties had to vote for him either because they were excited about him, or to actively block Hillary.

What does your job have to do with Obamacare?

I generally agree. It's not that liberals in general do not want to work, its that the liberal power base wants and seeks a voting base that is top loaded with poorly educated and poverty stricken peasants who will obediently vote democrat as long as the entitlements goodies keep coming. That is also why they are in such a hurry to hand out mass amnesty to illegal immigrants and accept as many Syrian refugees as they can get their hands on.

What do you think calling people names and mocking their ideals accomplishes?

I do agree we are having an ideological battle. I dont agree with your tactic. I ask anti-trumpers for sound reasoned discourse and explination for why they dont agree with him. In return i extend the same courtesy.

Imo your trolling looking for some kind of name calling match. Im sure you will find no shortage in sparring partners too. Thats your choice and i dont begrudge you of your fun but i am taking the opprotunity to distinguish my differences with you even though we both support the election of Trump.

Good for you. I live by the same sentiment. Theres good n bad ideas on both sides. Intent however i think in general is good on both sides. They just disagree on which path is the best approach at obtaining the same goals.

I am also with you on not being able to vote left until they clean up their house. The right are not saints but the lefts leaders are a sess pool right now. The voters need to demand better from them. I demand better from them.

Im an athesist but i was forced to attend catholic church growing up. My favorite part of mass is when everyone would turn to their neighbor, shake hands, and tell them peace be with you.

What do you feel society owes you in terms of healthcare and how much do you feel healthcare is worth?
