Demokrats fight him at their own peril... meaning... they'll lose. Americans elected Trump in a 305 EV landslide.

They want **** done.

If Demokrats go along with Trump, he's won... and that will carry over to the midterms.

R's always receive a bigger turnout in the midterms.

Right now, Trump is in the catbird seat, looking down from his bully pulpit, smiling his ass off at the Demokrats, with that tweeter bird hanging from between his teeth.

For him and R's... it's a win-win-win in 2018.

You underestimated him for 18-months, your Propagandists tried to take him out repeatedly, and your partei and their propgandists are making the mistake again.

They actually go back to 2000 for all elections .

The Senate has 52 R's.

The House is in solid R control.

State Houses... massively in R control.

33 Governorships are R.

I don't think it really helped the Socialists of Amerika Partei (SAPs) turnout. Criminal Hillary and her vagina monologues took care of that all by herself.
 
John Lewis fights for the black cause. He is and always will be a Civil Rights warrior first and foremost regardless of how many black multi millionaires there are.
He and Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson aren't concerned with the well being of ALL Americans.

As long as we have politicians dedicated to causes of racism....we will remain a very divided nation. We may have needed it through the 50's and 60's but those days are past.

People that slam the Republican party on grounds of racism have very little actual knowledge of history as it has always been Democrats that cause the most racial division.

I admit that there are legitimate issues and concerns that need to be aired and hopefully addressed, the conflict of interest with Trump and his businesses for example.

I also admit frustration when crap like the golden show dossier, containing nothing but fact less rumors, gossip and innuendo, steal the attention from legitimate issues and concerns.

Trump appears to have succeeded in his goal to become POTUS. In doing this, he faced long odds and pulled off a stunning and spectacular upset. His aggressive strategy included routinely disparaging his opponents. For years he questioned Obama's legitimacy.... offering $5 million... maybe $50 million for proof of Obama's birth on U.S. soil. I don't question Trump's success. I question his competence to govern in the public sector and to truly serve as POTUS for the benefit of humanity. Soon we find out. Anticipate my opposition to Team Trump until the day he relinquishes office.

Some would go as far as to say it's Colin Kaepernick like... un-American. I think it's worse because it is a bad example to his constituents. A poisonous example.

PS. Your deduction on this is beyond lame. How you get from Lewis, to The Clinton Crime Family somehow blowing this thread into the swamp provides yet further evidence of how the Leftist mind operates.

I really don't care that much for political parties as constituted today. They have lead to polarization and cooperation between them is lacking. It seems to me that today both parties are putting the good of the party over the nation. Perhaps that is/was to be expected. At one time both parties had their liberal and conservative wings which would come together at election time. Now the GOP has shed its liberal wing and the Democrats their conservative wing. Making both parties kind of one note parties.
