Trump: American People Can't Handle the Truth

Ladies and gentlemen, it's called a classified briefing. For a minute you have the vice president of the United States making a comment about it the other day. You have intelligence officials confirming and denying.

This is classified information. Why is it top secret? It's top secret not to keep it from the public, but to protect the public and I very much respect the fact that the president-elect, the vice president-elect, the incoming chief of staff, others, our incoming press secretary, others who were in that room, are keeping quiet about the specifics.

She neither said, nor implied, that Americans can't handle the truth. Her whole statement is a comparison of the Trump team and the Obama administration in regard to safeguarding or leaking and talking about what occurred in a classified briefing.

Frankly, calamity, since her words were very clear I can only surmise that you are deliberately spinning them into something totally different. You should be ashamed of yourself.

I can't believe someone said the CIA is about "defending our nation". You might be able to say that about some people in the FBI, but the CIA has consistently been shown to be a destablizing force around the world.
