In a ruling that could have wide ranging implications for the EPA's agenda, regulations on coal were struck down because the EPA did not consider the economic and employment impacts of the regulations, as is required by law.
In fact, the EPA hasn't been doing that for decades, and they can't believe that a judge is going to force them to follow the law now.
This is what we mean when we say that the EPA has gone rogue. It no longer follows the law, responds to Congressional oversight, or obeys orders from the President. It writes its own laws. And now a judge has said that this is not acceptable.
The EPA, in my opinion, should be abolished, its essential functions spun off to other agencies, and its current employees barred from ever working for the federal government again. The entire thing is corrupt and toxic.
