Trump and Russian Money

So, this subject has been up for some time and I thought I'd highlight it for discussion. Trump told everybody that he would release his tax returns, but of course it's never happened and there really is no excuse for it. He also told everybody two weeks ago that he knew things about the Russian hacking that others didn't, and that we would be told on Tuesday or Wednesday of that week. Of course that never happened either, but now he agrees that Russians hacked the DNC in order to influence the election as he was repeatedly told by American intelligence concerns.

As for his taxes, he says that everything is on the up and up... but the funny part is, he seems awfully friendly and cooperative to the wrong people. So, I found this article on the subject; one of many, and I thought I'd post it up and see what you guys think. It's an interesting read:

Let’s not forget Trump promised the American people he would disclose his tax returns. He has broken this promise. Trump is hiding his tax returns by saying that an ongoing IRS audit prevents any disclosures. This is untrue and Trump knows it. It is an absurd excuse designed to hide his failure to pay taxes and to hide his financial entanglements with Russian and Chinese interests.

I know as well as I'm sittin here that Trumps stories about his taxes and financial dealings will come apart at the seems, like everything else he's trotted out thus far.

I'm ok with that, in lieu of a liberal, douchebag criminal!

I don't care nearly as much about seeing his tax return, as I do about the Crooked Clinton Family Foundation!

There is so much in this preceding paragraph that is spun and outright inaccurate (I really hate calling people liars) that I could devote an entire post demolishing the whole bunch of blather. But seeing as it really isn't on your own topic, I'll just be satisfied with dismissing this rubbish.

This article...written by a collection of mostly Democrat "former" Congressmen...is really nothing but speculation with very little meat to it...except the aforementioned spun crap that you posted. Also, it's from before the election so it's obvious that, since Trump was elected, those former Congressmen didn't have much of an effect with their screed.

I really see no reason to give them any consideration now...especially since Trump is actually under no obligation to release any of his financial information that he hasn't already released. Frankly, if I were Trump, I'd tell the lot of you to go pound sand.

Trump, as I said elsewhere, is gonna be on such a short leash he'll have company when he craps. He won't do squat without permission from Congress or the Joint Chiefs. Except tweet about actresses and untouchable foreign leaders. Only question is, will the power behind the throne be able to maintain the charade. I'm doubtful, given the divisions in the GOP. I expect the barrel of piranha to start feeding on each other by summer.
