When a President Goes Rogue

Why is it that you can't seem to debate without the constant condescension ?

Well in fairness I try not to do it unless its warranted. I've even apologized to some posters when it was uncalled for. But eorhn constantly deflects, refuses to back up anything he posts and (this is key), he like a lot of conservatives thinks "nuh uh" is acceptable debate. he doesn't respond to my posts. He responds to me. Now that being said, I don't think there is any condescension in my post to eohrn. You really should read the post I was responding to again. Did you see him flailing about a link I've posted in other threads? and he did it dishonestly. It was one of many links.

Would you like my account info? you might as well post for me so you can at least look like you are discussion something I said and you can give me positions I don't hold.

You can even space them as you want.

ahhh, another vague reply. Whine all you want but my point was clear and in direct response to your post "wah wah you guys did it too when you vilified the intelligence community”. No we didn't.

Buuuuuuuurp!!!!

No. We will have a president that questions. We will have one that lets us know more about what he's thinking than possibly any other in history. If you call this "going rogue," you don't appreciate honesty.

If you call that "honesty" you don't appreciate facts.

Except that isn't what he is doing. He actually thinks he knows more about these issues than the experts.

Trump was hired because many of us did not believe the experts had a clue.

It gets surreal. Think about it. We have a president who believes Putin and Assange--the former an enemy of the US, the latter a conduit for releasing damaging information about the US--over his own intelligence agency. And, what is worse, his idiot followers believe the Russian and the leak publisher more than they do the CIA and our cyber experts.

WTF???

Trump raises trust questions with spy feud - CNNPolitics.com

I am sure Putin is pleased.

Wait for and see what trump actually des, what he says to the masses is not always what he may do. Wait and see, if he goes off the rails, always possible, Congress and deal with him. For some reason President Pence seems almost natural, but hey ya never know, they may all be removed and He is who, oh wait, wrong website.

Come up with your own words.

Considering Trump has been proven completely wrong, the right thing for all you defenders to do is quietly slink away from this issue. Not that I would ever expect any of you to ever do the right thing, but it is a bit of advice which would best be heeded.

Completely wrong about what?

Oh, no. Here you go again. Can't spell it out in English, so I'M stupid. Sigh. Last time, it took me four posts to get you to express yourself. New record this time?

I'll give you this. I at least recognize your name now when I see you reply to me. That's not usually a good thing though.

All in fun, remember.

Hell, there are a couple things I like about the Trumpster too. Probably like more things about him than Hillary, when you get right down to it. But, this denial that Putin is ****ing with our heads, be it by hacking or sending trolls out to create social media discourse is not one of them.

The people feeding you that meme were Fancy Bear and their paid trolls.

It is amusing that so many have bought into that Fancy Bear/Cozy Bear piece, but then americans love their fiction and their movies. So many cannot tell the difference between what they're told in movies and what they are told "on the news". They are conditioned early on to believe in Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny, and the transition to belief in Cozy/Fancy Bear is seamless and effortless.

I am sure Putin is pleased.

Right now, it isn't Trump's intelligence agencies -- it is Obama's. We can't trust Obama's IRS, State Department, Justice, or HHS. At this point, should intelligence be any different?

  • The IRS was used politically to target Obama's opposition and the TEAParty specifically.
  • State has been responsible for Benghazi, N. Korea's 3rd successful nuke test, $4 billion in ransom to Iran, and letting Putin run wild. They also interfered in Israeli elections, Brexit, and seem to have no clue how to handle the Pacific.
  • Justice starts off not prosecuting voter intimidation and then leapfrogs from one racially charged case to another doing nothing but breaking race relations for the last 8 years. They prosecute orphanages over abortion, they embrace sanctuary cities, and they run gun stings that result in American deaths and then deny it for years. They find a Presidential candidate negligent and find that same candidate made untrue statements that would have resulted in anyone else (Scooter Libby) going to jail but yet they don't recommend charges.
  • HHS gave us the ACA. Keep your doctor. Keep your plan. Your premiums will do down.

This administration has been spinning a broken record of lies, half-truths, and fantasy for the last 8 years. This is a record they established for themselves. Is it any wonder a large number of the American people aren't willing to trust these institutions until personnel changes?

This mistrust and lack of faith in government is Obama's legacy.

Come up with your own words.

Those ARE my words. Honesty requires a fair assessment of the facts. There's a difference between honesty and having no filter, feeling entitled to whatever dumb **** passes through your lips. To declare, before seeing the facts, that there is an agenda to deceive is profoundly dumb and irresponsible, not "honest". There's a difference between incredulity and obstinacy. Trump oozes hubris and douchebaggery.

Those are my words too.
