President-elect Donald Trump is crafting plans to restructure at least two of the nation's top intelligence agencies, according to a new report.

Trump is eyeing overhauls of the CIA and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI), The Wall Street Journal reported Wednesday.

"The view from the Trump team is the intelligence world [is] becoming completely politicized," an individual close to Trump's transition operation said. "They all need to be slimmed down. The focus will be on restructuring agencies and how they interact."

They better keep a close eye on the disaster that happened with Rummy trying to do that with Dep of Defense. Intel is a huge mess, some people dont think it can even be done without killing off the CIA first, maybe just as a start.

One of the first things on the agenda has to be intell.

The Big Five + 1 are the key players in gathering, refining intelligence:
CIA - civilian intelligence + covert ops
NSA - signals intelligence, cryptology, cyber warfare
NRO - designs and operates all spy satellites
NGA - geospatial intelligence modeling + total geospatial predictive modeling
DIA - defense and military intelligence + blackops
FBI - non-intelligence, but critical law enforcement and counter intelligence.

Do we need this many anthills each fighting to expand its scope of responsibility?

If one wants to drain the swamp, those two agencies are without a doubt the best place to start. They are entrenched bureaucracies and when Jimmy Carter tried, it backfired. We may be talking as many as 100,000 employees and some very well connected political, economic, military, and corporate friends and allies. These are the allies of the Multi National corporations. The original clients helped by the CIA when it was only allowed to do business outside the USA. Strong old allegiances and big trouble end with power within the Mainstream media..

Generally, countries who combine their foreign and domestic intelligence agencies run into the same result as those who use the military as police forces: the people start getting treated like the enemy.


Since 9/11, CT has been the FBI's priority. That with counter gang, narco, etc., they do plenty of intel on top of domestic CI.
