“With my oldest brother, who I know voted for Trump, I’m going right for the jugular. I’m donating to the Democratic National Committee on his behalf,” Tereska said.
Tereska, an avid Hillary Clinton supporter, is so mad at the relatives who voted for Donald Trump in November that he’s giving money to progressive not-for-profit organizations in their names, in lieu of Christmas presents this year.
“It’s revenge giving,” he added, with relish.

FFS people, that's absurd.

A person gave a donation to the DNC because Trump, therefore thread?

Almost no one will actually do this

Well, look at the source of the claim. It's "THe Guardian' from the U.K. It's not as bad as the dailymail or the sun, but it's pretty darn bad.

Is this what keeps "miss renae" up at night?

non sequitur

You're shooting the messenger.....again.

But it's sooooo entertaining to see the writhing and moaning haha!

I'm soooo looking forward to something a bit more original in the way of deflection from the right whinge. Maybe someone else will come up with it and you can start saying something new and different.

By the way, the 'non sequitur' part was the meaning of the post you quoted. No, none of it follows.

1 whole person did this huh? Wow, that's worthy of 12-14 more threads on this.

We can discuss this until at least 2018.

This is the fruit of social justice demonization; where one group becomes convinced that the opposition is innately evil and that any disagreement with their belief system equates to a threat to their very "being."

This is also the roots of civil war; ideological differences pitting brother against brother, family against family, friends against friends.

Presently this is primarily exhibited by a relatively small but vocal minority. Unfortunately many of them are teaching in our schools and colleges, and our children have been and continue to be learning that feelings are more important than rational thought.

While I have hopes that this will tone down over the next four years, my concern for the new generation's indoctrination in this ideology of demonization and demands for equality of outcome rather than equality of opportunity bodes ill for our nation's future. :unsure13:

My father wrote in John McCain on his ballot, so I take that as a vote for Trump.
Liberals do not understand how voting works so this is probably why they're so upset with Trump's impressive EC victory.

My mother will not talk about it, so I assume she voted for Trump. ” Tereska said.
Liberals do not understand how logic works which is probably why they're so irrational all the time.

grow up. just a little bit

Holy ****, a liberal made a donation? That evil ****er!! Ffs, the right needs to get a grip.

I suppose this could backfire on them.
They could make donations in the offenders name to the NRA or any other worthwhile conservative cause that would piss them off.

Then it could become a tradition.

Now that... would be amusing.

Well...the actual article DID say "Many devastated Democrats have decided the best way to make a point to their loved ones with polar political views this holiday season is to put their money where they wish their relatives’ mouth were." So...not '1 whole person'...but Im sure you actually READ the article before commenting on it...right?

And no...I think we can agree that not ALL or even 'most' sad panda leftists are doing this. But this IS just another indicator of how ****ed up and pathetic 'many' leftists are. Examples like this, people crying in corners over the Trump election win, people running around still shrieking "but she WON!!! she WON!!! because...the POPULAR vote...."...yeah...pretty ****ing sad.

Whether or not something like this would be considered funny or in bad taste depends completely on the family dynamic. I couldn't imagine doing something like that to my grandmother. But if I did it to my brother we would both laugh.
