The AP Admits Defeat. Almost.

No. They are scary to most of Americans. Most Americans do not support the radical right-wing agenda that Pence is almost certain to try to push. Hopefully, Trump won't go along.

If I thought that Trump is anything like the huge horrible terrible beastly Trump that the left has living rent free in their heads I'd be scared, too.

Greetings, AlbqOwl. :2wave:

Very well said, as usual!

I am at my daughter's house today, baking some goodies for her as a surprise while she's at work. From here, I can see the local fire station at a distance, and the best part of all? I can see our flag proudly displayed on the pole there, waving away in the cold and snowy wind, and it makes me happy that I live in America! I feel sadness for those who don't appreciate what that flag represents - a Constitution which gives each of us the right to choose who will lead us into an unknown future. I didn't vote for Trump - I wrote in Kasich's (Ohio's Governor) name - but millions did, and he won the contest, so he has my support to show us what he can do! Fair is still fair...

I also wrote in Kasich.

I don't think you understand that the president is the president. The vice president is not the president. You also don't understand that most Americans do not support the radical left-wing agenda.

I never said that they did. But they certainly reject the vast majority of the radical right-wing agenda. I also understand that the President is the President....but the President can also be a pawn, e.g., GWB. Cheney was calling the shots because W was in over his head. I think Trump's ego is too big for that to ever happen in his administration, however, if Trump realizes that he is in way over his head, Pence could become Dick Cheney II....and that would be horrible. I can live with Trump. Ive said for months that I would rather have Trump than Cruz or Rubio or any of the others. It doesn't mean I'm happy...but I can live with him as long as he doesn't start pushing the right-wing social agenda that I know Pence is aching to do.
